Access to 214 acres of private mountain land & over 1/4 mile of river frontage plus 1/2 acre pond, trails, and private shooting range. This cabin is 1-room and completely off grid. It has NO electricity or plumbing/running water, but does have a Porta-John serviced weekly. Renter will be cabin camping so pack accordingly; tents also welcome.

You will find a beautiful modern slightly boho space. Unplug and unwind in the brand new hot tub under the stars. Try to make sure you are at the Ginger for Sunset at least once, it is breathtaking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s retreat. The home is spacious across both levels, making it perfect for our large family. It’s beautifully furnished-comfortable, tasteful and uncluttered. The kitchen is generously equipped. The massive deck is a real highlight. With plenty of seating, two heaters and a grill. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to connect with nature and truly unwind. Check-in and check-out were easy. The house is exactly as advertised- no surprises, just a great experience. The hosts were extremely responsive, friendly, and detailed with all their suggestions, help, and information! Loved the hot tub and fire pit in particular. Beautiful location and easy to get to town to explore. Thank you for a lovely stay, hopefully we’ll be back again!

It is an interesting and absolutely beautiful drive to get to Geoff and Sharyn’s cabin from Berkley Springs. Once there, access is easy and the place is cozy, comfortable and really nice and cutely furnished. The view from the porch was my favorite part-absolutely stunning!! And if you happen to be there during a thunderstorm, that’s pretty amazing too! Lol Last (but not least), Geoff and Sharyn are excellent hosts. They promptly responded whenever I messaged them and their thoughtfulness is evident in so many ways. I would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is a great space for 1-4 guests. Open with lots of light, big windows and a great view. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to find and check in. Tony was super responsive and helpful. There's not much to do in the immediate walkable area, but there are plenty of hikes and such in a 30-60min drive. Mostly a peaceful getaway retreat - perfect for that!
