For an urban stay this place is ideally located and very comfortable. The building is secure, all appliances are modern, good lighting, basic supplies in both kitchen, laundry, bathroom.

What can I say! What a fantastic home from home. A beautifully laid out 3 bedroom flat. Close to a great area with cool shops, bars and restaurants. Close to the river, so nearby nature as well as culture. A wonderful place, which we highly recommend. The flat was very comfortable with the best, most comfortable holiday beds we’ve ever slept in. 5 stars out of 5!!!

The Rose Retreat was perfect for our group of 6. It was very clean with plenty of space, comfy beds and lots of linens. Both bathrooms are in the basement, but they are spacious and clean with all the necessities. The upper floor has great light and views to the surrounding neighborhood. Silje gave us excellent information on using Bolt and Ruter to get around Oslo, which was very convenient. We were also able to check in early - very nice when flying in from the US. Would highly recommend this place.

Only a 10 minute walk up the hill from multiple ways of public transport. The apartment is very spacious and is only 30 minutes away from the city center(including the walk!) with public transport. Very good kitchen if you would want to cook and more than enough room to hang out if you wanted to. Scenery is very beautiful and very peaceful neighborhood.

Super logement, très bien placé, à quelques mètres du métro, qui emmène en plein centre en 5 minutes. Largement suffisant pour un week-end découverte à Oslo.

A lovely place with comfortable beds and an amazing view over the city! Central Oslo was really easy to get too as well. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to book with Alf again in the future!

Sehr hübsche, großzügige Wohnung mit tollem Balkon und allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Ideal für eine Erkundung von Oslo mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Exzellente Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und tollen Tips zu Restaurants und für Spaziergänge und Besichtigungen. Lebensmittelgeschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Schöne, moderne, saubere Gegend. Für uns war die Parkmöglichkeit in der Hausgarage ideal, da wir das Auto in Oslo nicht brauchten. Wir würden die Unterkunft von Simen immer wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft in guter Lage, die Metro Station ist in einer Minute zu erreichen. Alles wie beschrieben vorhanden, sehr gut ausgestattet, flexible Eincheckmöglichkeit und schnelle sehr persönliche Kommunikation. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Very comfortable with private and common spaces for our multi-gen family of 7. Good access to transport. Nice availability groceries and restaurants. Short ride to city center. Hosts clearly wanted us to enjoy their home as they do and were very responsive. Note that house has three floors with lots of steps. Also top floor bedroom has slanted ceiling, low at some points. Loved our stay as a comfy spot to recover from travel and explore Oslo. Highly recommend.

Ruhige Lage, unheimlich gemütlich eingerichtet/ zT nostalgisch. In wenigen Minuten beim Bus (und dann mit Fähre nach Oslo) und beim Lebensmittelladen oder unten an der Küste. Rauschender Bach auf dem Grundstück.

Kleine Wohnung in einem ruhigen, günen Stadtteil etwas außerhalb. Mit Bus und Bahn ist man ist man aber ohne Probleme schnell in der Innenstadt. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit Jon, alles ist gut organisiert. Die Küchenzeile ist klein und daher etwas spartanisch (eine Pfanne wäre schön), aber wir konnten dennoch unsere Mahlzeiten gut zubereiten.

Susanne is a super nice host, very responsuve and arranging. Her house is so lovely ans confortable to stay at, in a very calm and beautiful environnement. It was a real pleasure !

Ronny ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der sehr schnell auf Fragen antwortet. In der Wohnung haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Es war sogar besser als beschrieben. Die Lage war perfekt, da wir dieses Stadtviertel lieben und von hier aus auch schnell in der Innenstadt und am Meer sind. Eine klare Empfehlung! Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber Ronny!

The apartment is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The location is really great…near shops and restaurants as well as being convenient to tourist attractions. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

Really nice apartment in great location. Few minutes with bus to train station to go to Oslo. Big choice of places to eat around location.

We traveled with our 1.5 years old baby and it was perfect! The apartment is in a gated building, which felt very secure. There is a ramp at the entrance of the building, and the elevator was big enough for our compact stroller. The Host kindly had a travel cot ready for our kid and they also left a high chair. Another high chair was also available for older kids. There is an open wardrobe right at the entrance of the apartment that was great to leave the stroller and/or suitcases, so they were not in the way. The bathroom is very spacious and the water pressure was great! The apartment is super bright, which we loved! Both bedrooms have blackout blinds, and the mattress was comfortable. Communication with the Hosts was very good, always responsive, friendly and helpful. This is heir family home, so it has a lot of personal touches. We would love to come back!

Michelle’s place was great while exploring Oslo. It was clean, close to public transportation, and Michelle was very responsive to our questions. We would stay here again.

Fint og rolig sted med gode bussforbindelser inn til sentrum. Det var lett å finne frem i bil, og et ekstra pluss for parkeringsmulighet☺️ Kan absolutt anbefale dette stedet!

Eine tadellose und sauber Unterkunft. Sigrid ist sehr freundlich hilfsbereit. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und man fühlt sich sofort wohl in der schönen Wohnung. Ganz besonders schön ist die Terrasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ein früheres Check in war wirklich hilfreich. Danke Sigrid
