Charming apartment in historic manor near Baden-Baden

Located in the mansion of the Winklerhof, the apartment offers fantastic views over horse paddocks and orchards to the Northern Black Forest. Lots of light, stylish decor, and thoughtful amenities will make you feel right at home. Outside, a small magic garden invites you to have breakfast in the sun or watch the starry sky with a glass of wine. Also an ideal starting point for trips to Baden-Baden, Strasbourg and the Murgtal! The apartment is accessible through the courtyard almost at ground level (2x2 flat steps). Since the house was built on the edge of a hilltop, the view from the apartment is still like from the first floor - undisturbed and with a fantastic view! A small hallway leads to the spacious living/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave/oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, cutlery and some other useful things - if you are missing something, just let me know! There is also a basic stock of food (vinegar, oil, salt, salt, pepper, pepper, coffee pods, tea, etc.). A flat screen TV with integrated DVD player is stored in the closet and can be installed in just a few steps. The bedroom has a French double bed (2.00mx1.40m) with a continuous mattress and a selection of pillows and blankets, a three-door closet as well as a "dressing ladder". Like all windows in the apartment, the bedroom window can be darkened not only with curtains/roller blinds, but also with roller shutters. The bathroom is also accessible via the small hallway. Hair dryer, shampoo/shower gel, soap, and a base of toilet paper are provided. The bedroom and one of the living room windows are equipped with mosquito nets, so you can keep them open even during the warm seasons without getting unpleasant visits from outside. The strong central heating provides pleasant temperatures in winter, and in summer the old walls keep the house pleasantly cool for quite a long time. The apartment has an orchard with apple and pear trees and a fire bowl, which can be reached by a short walk (or in 2 minutes by car). But also in the immediate vicinity of the Winklerhof there are countless opportunities for outdoor picnics, etc. - on the meadows, the benches on the edge of the forest, the barbecue area at the old quarry on the Eichelberg, ... The meadows and forests around the estate are a paradise for walking, walking and cycling. In the summer, dredging lakes and the natural river bed in the back Murgtal offer wonderful opportunities for cooling, and in the winter the nearby cross-country skiing areas are worth a trip – as is the world-famous spas in Baden-Baden and Bad Wildbad. However, the cultural offerings are in no way inferior to this: castles and palaces, renowned museums, cosy cafes, first-class restaurants, … Winkel is located in the middle of nature - and can still be reached quickly: From the A5 exit Rastatt-Nord/Gaggenau it is less than 10 minutes by car to the Winklerhof. Parking is right by the house. I will send you detailed directions after booking! Winkel is also included in the public transport network. The call line taxi runs about an hourly to Gaggenau station, in six minutes they will be there. From there, the S-Bahn takes you to the Murgtal (e.g. to Forbach, Baiersbronn or Freudenstadt) as well as to Rastatt and Karlsruhe. By the way: All holiday guests in Winkel will receive a Konus guest card, with which you can use buses and trains free of charge throughout the Konus area. A women's and a men's mountain bike are available for a flat rate of 10€ each (regardless of the length of stay). For stays of 7 nights or more, you are welcome to use the washing machine including detergent and dryer in the basement. And for guests who want to explore the spas in Bad Rotenfels, Baden-Baden, etc., two fluffy bathrobes are included for stays from 7 nights (from October to March from 3 nights). Last but not least: on the grounds of the farm there is the Winkler Hofstüble, a small, cozy restaurant with a large sun terrace. Here, in addition to excellent coffee from the Gaggenau Eisenwerk roastery, you can also enjoy regional cuisine. The meadows and forests around the estate are a paradise for walking, walking and cycling. In summer, dredging lakes and the natural river bed of the upper Murg offer wonderful possibilities for cooling off. In winter, the nearby cross-country skiing areas are worth a trip – as well as, of course, the world-famous spas in Baden-Baden and Bad Wildbad! The apartment is ideally suited for 2 people, but can accommodate up to 4 people. The apartment is two-story, the ground floor consists of kitchen/laundry room as well as a living/dining room and has a 1.40 m pull-out sofa bed, the upper floor from a bedroom with two beds as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment is on the ground floor level to the large parking/courtyard and has its own entrance. The house is located in a quiet part of Gaggenau without connection to public transport.

Welcome to the Black Forest! This beautiful architect´s house is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by idyllic vineyards and some of the most beautiful paths for hiking or mountain biking start directly in front of the door. The house has a big garden with a magnificent old stock of trees and a little creek.
