Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

Cozy studio overlooking the Jungfrau

Private entrance, balcony and everything you need for a cozy getaway in the mountains. In 15 minutes along the river you are at Lauterbrunnen train station. In front of the house there is also a bus stop. The bed in the studio can be reached via a ladder. On the cozy gallery you will feel like Heidi. ☺️ The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself. Towels and linens are included. Free parking is available.

We loved this place. Location is amazing - views out the window of Birg station, can see Jungfrau from the balcony. Only a couple minute walk from Murren cablecar or train station. Coop grocery store literally under the floor. Only downside was a lot of people talking in street right outside windows, so on warm night with windows open there's some noise pollution. But that goes with being in the best possible location otherwise. Spotless clean, really cozy - both twin bedroom and the couch bed. Guest cards for free swimming. Fairly well equipped kitchen. Good shower, cold tap water. It's pricy compared to other Europe Airbnb's but that's because it's in Murren - good value compared to the other options there.

Eagle's Nest was the perfect home away from home during our five day trip to the Interlaken region. Cute, comfortable home with out of this world views and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Dinners with views followed by stunning trail walks going from the front door. Easy access to public transportation, great host. Highly recommended!

Hanna and Ernst where the perfect hosts. They were there to greet us and there to farewell us. When we arrived, there were little Lindt chocolates and fruit for us to have and Hanna also gave us a sample of her homemade rhubarb cake. The scenery from the windows was breathtaking and they also had an outdoor area for us to use. Anything you need to know about the area, they were able to help. Thank you for having us in your home.

We absolutely loved staying at the chalet, it truly was picture book Switzerland…stunning views of the mountains and lake, a beautiful spacious chalet, topped off with cow bells in the field below us! Markus was very friendly and helpful, recommending places to stay that were suitable for the whole family ( my Dad needed a wheelchair when out and about). Would highly recommend and will definitely look to book again in the future.
