Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

This cabin is a palace for seasoned campers and glamping for people who are not as outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique style made from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. The kitchen is simple: No running water but a sink and water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in the cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Shower available by request.

A new 6 seater hot tub has just been added for guests to enjoy. Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Beluga Bunkie

The Beluga Bunkie is a little piece of paradise on our private cliffside waterfront property in the heart of North Bay Ingonish. This private one-room bunkie was designed for optimal views all the time! Whether you're taking it in from the front porch or from the comfort of the bed, it's sure to take your breath away over and over again. Although there is no direct access to the water from our property, it's just a short 10min walk to where you can dip your toes at a sandy beach.

The Sleeping Moose Cottage is a private, cosy, 600 square feet, well laid out vacation rental for up to 5 people. It is very nicely renovated and completely equipped for you to enjoy a weekend gateway or a longer vacation. Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect.
