Relax in a small port town. We renovated a traditional house that is about 70 years old. Please relax in our small home in a port town. Because it is an old house, there are steep stairs (without handrails) and steps. Please be aware of small children and people with bad legs. Amenities: Towels (face and bath towels) Shampoo, conditioner, body soap Frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, chopsticks, forks, spoons Plates, tea bowls, cups, mugs, kitchen scissors, corkscrew Appliances: Fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, Kettle, toaster, microwave, rice cooker * For eco-friendly reasons, we do not provide disposable toothbrushes or razors. If necessary, please purchase them at a nearby convenience store or bring them with you. ※ There is no TV. There are some books and internet, so please enjoy a relaxing time.

It is limited to one group per day and can accommodate up to 4 people. You can stay with your dog (but you can put it in the cage in the tatami room). It is the only stay facility around Shin-Onomichi Station. Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building. One day one group and possible to stay up to 4 people. It is possible to stay with your dog. (However, in the tatami room, we will ask you to put he/she in a cage.)

iikazegafuku.｜It's a charming small inn on Teshima

It’s located in a village called Karato Oka. You’ll find the Teshima Museum and rice terraces within a short walking. The guesthouse is a Japanese wooden house with only one room, so you can use privately. The room on the second floor has a slightly lower ceiling, giving it a cozy cabin or tea room feel. From the window, you can see old houses, mountains, and persimmon trees, with the morning light streaming in. Experience an extraordinary space and time, inviting you to cherish the moment.

Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.
