2 bedroom Rio Del Mar Apt - Stunning Ocean Views

SarahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This place was exactly what my family needed for our beach getaway! The layout of the house is so cozy and it felt like a home away from home. The 180’ of ocean views was truly amazing. We watched a pod of humpback whales go back and forth throughout the day and got to watch a feeding frenzy of thousands of birds all from the balcony! We drove 20 minutes to Henry Cowell Redwoods State park and walked around Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz. From the spot we walked to the beach (with all our boogie boards, sand toys, towels, umbrella, etc.), took advantage of Venus’ happy hour and really didn’t need to use our car for two days! This will definitely be a spot we stay at again!

Ocean View Paradise

AdrianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! We loved it.

A most peaceful stay during an extremely, extraordinary long social weekend. The house is fully equipped for cooking simple meals which worked for us just fine. The bed is totally comfy. The house pristine.

Redwood Ridge Tree Fort VRP#181501

AbigailRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful 2 night stay, highly recommend! We’ve haven’t had the best experiences with Airbnb in the past, but Bethany’s tree fort was amazing. This retreat was peaceful and had impressive little touches - like a hair towel wrap (I forgot mine), snacks, and s’mores station. We’ve already sent the ig/link to many family and friends. Thanks for the great getaway!

Cathedral Redwood Studio with loft

ReeceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a beautiful place to stay. It’s secluded and quiet with big windows with really pretty views. We did many Point Lobos hikes and sightseeing along the coast. We went to cute dinners, an orchestra, and the farmers market in downtown Carmel. The Airbnb is easy to drive to and easy to check into. Friendly Naomi and Anina are very helpful and can suggest the best activities. The Airbnb kitchen has just about everything you would need to cook nice meals and is kept at a comfortable temperature. We had a great stay thanks to Naomi!

Eclectic Escape

MasonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Staying at this cabin nestled in the heart of a redwood grove in the Santa Cruz mountains was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

Ocean Vista

PrayashRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a charming little studio – perfect for a weekend getaway. My wife and I had a baby-moon here so this studio with its outdoor shower, gorgeous balcony, stocked kitchenette and super airy, light filled suite was perfect. It’s located at the top of the hill which gives you a great vantage point of the coastline. Balcony is peaceful, room has amazing light all times of the day. Has the perfect amount of charm and modernity. My only gripe is that the neighborhood is not walkable—meaning no sidewalk, steep grade. But it’s also 3 mins to drive to Point Lobos so not a big deal. We just cherish our neighborhood walks. Otherwise, we loved it and can’t wait to return to this same exact spot!
