Enjoy a stay in the former home of the painters Fritz and Hermine Overbeck in a modernly furnished 2-room apartment in a friendly and lively multi-generational house with its own terrace and garden access. The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The Wesermarsch right outside the front door and the nearby rivers Weser, Ochtum and Ollen invite you to take bike tours, walks or inline skating tours. Good location on the Weser bike path. Oldenburg and Bremen can be reached in just 30-40 minutes by car.

In the renovated annex, we let our family & friends stay when they visit us. On other days, we now also warmly welcome everyone else to our place :-). We live centrally in Hude, yet absolutely quiet! You can walk to everything such as train, shops, doctors, pharmacy, forest, etc. There is a private front door, a small kitchen, a shower room with window, a very nice bedroom and a kind of small "living room" with a sofa bed. Parking space available.

We want you to relax, with good books, in a quiet but cozy environment, with only greenery and tranquility in front of the windows.

The house is absolutely quiet and offers the perfect place to relax. Our small forest and meadow offer many opportunities for children and adults to play. It is only 3 kilometers to Weserstrand.
