If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

I spent a wonderful extended weekend in Marina and Reto's great apartment. The location is absolutely central and ideal as a starting point for various activities. The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos: very clean, homely and cozily furnished and excellently equipped – there was really nothing missing. My dog and I felt very comfortable from the first moment. Marina and Reto are extremely likeable and helpful hosts who make you feel welcome immediately. A special extra: In the house across the street, the two rent out other apartments that I was allowed to see – everyone is lovingly designed and have their own charm. I will definitely be happy to return!

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

Paul is a great host and the views of this Airbnb are incredible. About an hour or two away from most places in the country. Absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. I would love to stay here again.

I was on site for 4 days and I was able to actively and very well relax. The area is intoxicating. I focused exclusively on hiking. On the next visit, I will bring the bike - there are also many beautiful possibilities. The only thing to note is that the summer season does not start until July 5, 2025. I was there in June, which means that many mountain railways and restaurants were still closed. But I had the hiking trails all to myself.

A great, cozy apartment with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the stream rushes. Our two teenagers were also thrilled. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and yet want to quickly go shopping by bus or stroll through Locarno.

We came from Valais to Hansjörg for ski races at the Rinerhorn. The location was perfect because it was very close to the ski lifts and less than 10 minutes to Davos Platz. We very much enjoyed the calm and the setting in the heart of nature. Hansjörg is very friendly and took the time to chat with us, moreover he always responded to messages very quickly. Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

The communication with Gerda before and during the stay is fine. Upon arrival, she showed us everything and explained everything. Gerda is very kind and very helpful. She insists not to ask for anything. She responds quickly to our questions and check in between if everything is to your liking. The apartment is beautifully decorated and in impeccable condition. You can feel right at home. The rooms are large and modern. There is a very large garden with stunning mountain views. All in all, highly recommend.

The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the crickets chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the lovely stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in Chesa Paulina. On one side, the house is beautifully historical (we even decided to skip visiting Museum Engiadinais that demonstrates historic house interiors, since we lived in one :) ), on the other side, all amenities are modern and there is everything you need. The house was very clean and well organized. With regard to the surroundings, the playground was a blast with our kids, and Zuoz is one of the most beautiful and historic towns in Engadin. At the same time, Volg (grocery store) on the main square is open 7 days a week and is only a 2 minute walk from the house. We did many day trips using the train into the surrounding towns for various activities (trails, horse riding, going up Diavolezza with the cable car, strolling along the St Moritz lake), which was very convenient as well. And one can watch beautiful nature, houses and farms out of the train window. All in all, this was a great vacation and I highly recommend Priscilla's house!

We had an all-around pleasant stay! Communication with the host was excellent – fast, friendly and solution-oriented. We would like to emphasize how accommodating he was: a suitable solution was found immediately for every small concern. The location of the apartment is also ideal. It is very well connected to public transport, so you can easily arrive without a car and explore the surroundings. Overall, absolutely recommended!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

We had a great stay in Donath! Andrea and Peter we're very nice and helpful hosts. We liked the village in which the accomodation ist located a lots. With all the farms and animals and mountain Panorama its a great place to make vacation.

One of the best Air B&B locations we’ve stayed at. The view was incredible and the town was great for outdoor adventures. Hiking and skiing from the front door. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day. We’ll be back!

Visiting Switzerland was a dream — and staying at Franzisca’s home in Silvaplana made it even more magical. We expected stunning views on hikes, but found them at home: breakfast, dinner, and quiet mornings on the patio, always in front of majestic mountains. The house is warm, cozy, spotless, with a perfect shower and a fully equipped kitchen. We felt truly at home. Silvaplana, just 5 km from St. Moritz, offers easier access and better prices — with breathtaking views. Everything worked flawlessly. Even "magnificent" feels too small to describe our experience. It was simply beyond words.

We had a wonderful week in the apartment with our dog. Walter was an incredibly warm and attentive host – we especially appreciated how quickly and reliably he responded to our questions. When we had an issue with the door lock, he came by right away and helped us kindly and efficiently. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very cozy, bright, and modern. We particularly enjoyed the balcony with its lovely view. The location is perfect for reaching the nearby valleys for beautiful mountain hikes. Thank you for everything – we’d love to come back!
