Marie and Tom we’re great hosts to me. They provided an excellent breakfast each morning made to order. They were quiet at night when I was getting much needed sleep. Marie and Tom are excellent conversationalists and will talk on just about any subject. I’m a birder and we talked about the birds I saw while staying there. This is a very good place to stay if you like peace and quiet and don’t want to stay in a noisy hotel room. Highly recommended.

Island beach NY Waterfront Apt.

This is a quaint and charming neighborhood located on the Massapequa canals. The view of the canal from the back yard is utterly peaceful and charming. We saw ducks, geese, gulls, fish, and other wildlife. At the end of the road, there is a small public cove and beach area that would be perfect for paddleboarding. The unit itself was well suited to our three-person family (two adults and a teen) for a week long stay. The main living space and bathroom are a bit small, but worked fine for us as we didn't spend a ton of time inside the unit when there was so much to do out on Long Island and in NYC. We had a couple of minor issues but Mike was incredibly responsive and addressed them quickly. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The apartment was very clean and beautiful. The check-in was simple and easy. The communication with Nakeita and Lateef was great. The view from the deck was nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return if we are in the area.

This is the place you are looking for. David is a great host, and his house is great for those of us who want our own bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom. David is very responsive to messages and always looking out for the guests. Everything was clean, the A/C and fan worked well, and plenty of space for me, probably plenty for a couple too. Only potential issue I could think of is climbing the stairs up to the second floor once inside the house. For most people, this shouldn’t be a problem but, if you have trouble with long staircases, this might be a problem for you. I have issues with my knees and back, but just had to take it slow.
