The house, surrounded by a sheltered garden, is located on a sunny slope in the small hamlet of Langackern between meadows and forests. It offers a special atmosphere of nature and modern luxury: bright, spacious, pleasant, with floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful views of the lovely landscape. Close to the city of Freiburg and at the same time in the middle of the Black Forest, you can enjoy the culture of the lively city and the peace and quiet of the mountains, the forest and the unique nature.

Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of rolling hills, Icelandic horses, and Scottish Blackface sheep. Berghaus Hintermatt, our modern Black Forest house at 1,100 m, apartment for 12 people in the sunny high valley of Todtnauberg with unique views and alpine views. Close to hiking and biking trails, cross-country trails and ski lifts. The large living-dining kitchen with long dining table, cooking island, open fireplace, 55" TV, flipchart if required, 2 balconies, barbecue and fireplace outside, invite you to get together with friends/family or meetings with colleagues and business partners.

Ferienhaus, Black Forest

Cleaning costs of 90 € not included. A former inn in a prominent location with the best views at the foot of the Belchen. Ideal for mountain bikers, hikers and bikers who like to use the mountain road on weekends. NOT available for parties. With good winter sports conditions, ski in, ski out. The town of Wieden itself is within walking distance. The Hotel Wiedener Hof (about 5-8 minutes) is open and has very good cuisine. No pets allowed. Cleaning costs €90 on site, obligatory.

An integral part of the village is the old schoolhouse located 700 meters above sea level. The large, bright building offers 10 bedrooms, a 120m apartment and a large bar!

Old carpentry shop at the nature reserve

The Alte Tischlerei is an individual apartment (approx. 70 square meters of living space) for nature lovers, individualists, cooking enthusiasts, dog lovers or... It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish place. About 50 square meters are at your disposal in a separate apartment. It is a retreat for those who want to feel comfortable and regenerate in nature. Starting point for activities in nature (Belchen, Feldberg, Schluchsee, Titisee), for excursions to the surrounding cities (Basel, Freiburg, Staufen, Strasbourg) or thermal baths in Badenweiler, Bad Krozingen, Bad Bellingen.
