“The space is nice. The bed is large and comfortable. It is a very nice room. Garrett was easy to communicate with and my stay was smooth. Highly recommended!”
This guest suite is part of, but separate from, the rest of our home, with its own entrance. We added on this space less than 3 years ago (late 2014), so it is in great condition. We're located in a rural setting. We have a few farm animals here - a horse, a few goats, chickens & a pair of ducks. We have dogs, but they do not have access to the Guest House. The guest suite is perfect for a single adult, or a couple. Schedule early, or stay for 7 days or longer, and get a discounted rate.
“This is a very simple place to stay when you are in town, but the word simple is not a bad thing here. For the price the location is great. You really feel like it’s a mini getaway. The hosts were super nice, friendly and made me feel like I was safe. I would definitely book this little get away as my stay next.”
The Aberdeen Carriage House is in a country setting with a country road. We are not far from city limits and have most of your needs right here. In five minutes, you have a grocery store, dollar store, Target, Walgreens, Planet Fitness, gas stations, and restaurants. Historic Havre de Grace, Ripken Stadium, Vineyards, Boating, and Golfing, only ten minutes. Baltimore Harbor, and Stadiums are only 35 minutes straight down I95. The house is spotless and fully loaded with all the comforts of home.
“The Tranquil Carriage House lives up to its name, and then some! The location is tucked away down a long dirt road, which means that at night, you can see tons of stars in the sky and beautiful, expansive sunrises and sunsets. The house itself is super cozy but spacious. There's a comfortable living room area, a dining space and nice kitchen, a very nice bathroom with a roomy shower/tub, bedroom and a bonus of onsite washer/dryer in the closet! Since I visited for the holidays, the place was all dressed up in sweet decorations which made it feel extra homey. There were thoughtful touches out, like chocolate and fruit that you could partake in. And Matthew and his family make extra effort to provide a very 'green' experience — reusable cloth towels and napkins, and lots of space to recycle bottles and cans. I absolutely loved my stay and hope to visit again.”
