Vacation rentals with a patio in Bailey's Crossroads

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

Great spot close to the airport an DC! The apartment was cozy and very well kept. A+, 5 stars all around!

Amy and her place were lovely for our family of 4. With two littles it worked very well and Amy even had toys for us- we also used her provided pack n play and some baby essentials. King Bed was extremely comfy, moderately firm. Shower was very nice. Cozy, comfy, had everything we needed. Amy was very responsive and helpful. We would gladly come back! Thanks Amy!!

I stayed in DC over 20 times in the past 20 years. I have to say Chris’s place was at the top of the list. I picked it because we were going to the Smithsonian zoo. Which was only a 8 minute walk to the Harvard walk in gate. The best restaurant within walking distance was ll Supremo Italian food. Very good for such a small place

We loved our stay, clean place, no clutter and so much was within walking distance. All eateries recommended by Host were tried and enjoyed. We always felt safe walking around. Taxis & Ubers always available. By the way DC yellow cab was always cheaper. The only negative that might be a problem for someone is it is noisy in the early morning, wasn’t a problem for us for we always got an early start. Also as a warning, if you have a mobility issue with stairs, I would not recommend, but if not I would recommend every time. I would definitely rent again.

Jillian was welcoming and very kind, she gave me a heads up that there would be extra kids during one of the days which I appreciated. the apartment was very comfy, she has throw blankets on the couch which is rare in an Airbnb!

Lena is a great host - she was very helpful with a last-minute travel issue. The apartment worked out well for us. Everything was modern, clean, and in great working condition. One thing that may matter to you - if you specifically want to be in or within walking distance of Old Town Alexandria, you're going to be about 15-20 minutes away by car. That said, the location is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, and a nice break from the DC area overall. Highly recommend.

Sharia and her apartment were both perfect for our stay in the DC area. Her apartment was clean and stocked with plenty of essentials for our 5 day stay. Shafia herself was extremely accommodating and friendly, she even sent local recommendations before our stay. The neighborhood itself is quiet and quaint, the perfect location to easily commute to DC and Regan National. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved Heather and Axle’s Cozy House in Alexandria, Virginia. The name fits the house! It has a loving welcome feeling to it. You feel like it’s a home away from home!Heather and Axle were quick to respond to our questions. We went into Washington DC to visit a few museums that were on our bucket list. Heather and Axle recommended a list of restaurants. They did not steer us wrong. The food was amazing! We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day! Highly recommend this wonderful home!

Jacky’s home in Falls Church, VA was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. It was incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable — the perfect “home away from home.” From the thoughtful touches throughout the space to the peaceful atmosphere, it was clear that Jacky puts great care into making her guests feel welcome. Jacky herself was a fantastic host — helpful, responsive, and truly lovely to work with. She made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

Me and my husband had a truly fantastic stay here at the Jewelbox. It is in a very sweet neighborhood that is the perfect walking distance from E-bikes, a park, multiple bus stops, a gas station, and convenience stores. Each one of the hosts on this stay made me feel incredibly comfortable to say if I needed ANYTHING!! They put effort into making it very easy to find where to park, and took previous feedback to make things even better than before. I seriously loved the stay here and WILL BE returning⭐️

We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!
