From the quiet residential area you can walk to the lake in 10 minutes, to the train station in 15 minutes and can therefore be ideally used as a starting point for any activities (e.g. with the Hochschwarzwald Card). The High Black Forest Card is included.

Welcome to the Albtal Menzenschwand! With us you can hike, swim, ski, enjoy stars, visit world heritage sites or make campfires and relax in the award-winning revitalizing pool. The Rehbachhaus is surrounded by the slopes of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park on the edge of a small village below the Feldberg. Stylishly renovated, it overlooks meadows and mountains. Romantic small attic loft apartment with hot tub

The attic loft apartment (built in 2018) is located in a farmhouse with horses and is ideal for guests (individual or a couple) looking for peace and relaxation who only want to cater for themselves to a limited extent (breakfast). The cooking facilities on the brand new wood-burning stove are limited due to the sloping roof. There is a small electric hotplate. Dishes, coffee maker (Nespresso capsules) and kettle are provided.

Time out in the middle of the Rothauser Land!

Enjoy a break in the middle of the countryside between goats and forests in a secluded location. Start the day with a glass of fresh goat's milk and enjoy the fantastic view and watch our goats and feel the calming effect. Right outside your front door you can start your hikes through the fascinating Black Forest. Our well-known Rothaus brewery is worth a trip. It can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

Nature experiences - activities close to nature and culture

The house is situated in a spacious scattered settlement, the distance to the nearest house is about 50 meters. Apart from the guests, I live as a host in the house, the permanently rented apartment in the attic has a separate entrance from the outside. Guest access is at the bottom floor. Me as a host use the extra entrance in the basement.
