It is easy to walk around in the Midding area. It's a vacant lot right in front of you, but it's not noisy. If Midding is Korean town, this place across the street has a little more local feel. It has everything you need. The bed was clean and the kitchen utensils were all well equipped. The cooling worked well. It wasn't luxurious, but it was perfect for the price. Thank you.

The apartment was fantastic. Everything is thoughtfully laid out: it’s compact but efficient. The kitchen is small but well-stocked, with a microwave, electric kettle, induction hot plate, and all necessary dishes and utensils. They sold me large bottles of drinking water throughout my stay. The shower is great, with plenty of hot water. The view from the windows is lovely, and there are lots of windows. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy (construction, football revelry), but the double-panel glass blocked out almost all of the noise and I slept peacefully every night. Tracy was responsive and helpful: she’d always answer my messages within a few minutes and helped me to troubleshoot the few problems I had. E.g. my electric kettle stopped working, and she provided a new one immediately. I’ve stayed in Hà Nội many times, and this is my favorite apartment. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Thao’s place for almost 3 weeks and it truly felt like home away from home. So sad to leave! The apartment is super spacious and nicely decorated. There are 3 balconies to choose from and a gorgeous rooftop! It is bright and clean and you rarely hear the noise from the street or neighbours. Location is great - away from the madness of the old town but easily walkable. The local area has great restaurants and cafes too. This apartment would be perfect for a short or a long stay. Thao goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. She is kind, responsive and helpful. Truly an incredible host. We will definitely be back should we return to Hanoi. I recently stayed at an apartment in Hanoi that was conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant sights and attractions. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. A highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace, which offered a great space to relax and enjoy the view over the city skyline, especially during sunset. The area was also fairly quiet considering its central location, making it a nice escape from the city's hustle and bustle. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a balance between accessibility and comfort in Hanoi!

I stayed for a month and was very happy with the apartment. The lake view and the balcony is awesome. It is fully equipped and cooking was possible. There is staff in the building from 7 am to 11 pm and they are generally helpful though there could have been some more explanations at checkin. Overall this a great place to stay!

Great stay. The pictures are a bit older than the current state of the apartment; however, it was clean and equipped with the essentials :) Location is a bit outside the city so if you like the calm it is a good place.

The accommodation is close to the center, very convenient for traveling to many surrounding attractions. The area is quiet, private and has lots of trees. The apartment owner is always supportive and responds to messages quickly.

I've stayed in Hanoi multiple times, but nothing compares to this Airbnb. A marvel overlooking the water, Mr Ngoc's 4th-floor penthouse was even better than the photos. With large windows providing stunning views of Tay Ho, a spacious layout, and a large, comfortable bed, it was easy for my boyfriend and me to feel right at home. And having a private rooftop is truly a dream when it comes to watching the sunset over the lake. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (Bao Wow being one of our frequent stops) that you can access on foot (if you don't mind the hustle of Hanoi). However, you can easily get a ride (download Grab for rides and food delivery) and explore the area. The Old Quarter is a quick motorbike away, so if you prefer an Airbnb in a calmer area, this is a great option. This Airbnb is absolutely worth it and will make your Hanoi stay magical!

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb in Hanoi! The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to local eateries, cafes, and all the must-see attractions. It made getting around super convenient whether by foot or Grab. The space was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was also very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. Highly recommend this place if you want to explore Hanoi with ease. I’d definitely stay here again!

Apartment very nice, clean and had everything that you need. We felt very comfortable. The neighborhood offered lots of possibilities for cafes and restaurants, but with a lot less traffic compared to hanoi center. We had a good time and would come back again. Thanks !

Linh is the most accommodating and generous host we’ve ever encountered! The apartment is light and bright, the bed was super comfortable, great wifi, hot water, etc. All around great! But note you’ll have to call a grab (10-20 mins) to either West Lake or Old Town.

This airbnb was a great stay. It was in a nice neighborhood near the park with a lot of local restaurants and stores nearby. Close enough to the old quarter for site seeing but far away enough to get away from the tourism. Giao was a helpful host and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Came back to The Good Vibes and stayed in the new 6th floor apartment — loved it just as much as the 3rd floor one I tried last time! Thinh and My are amazing superhosts for a reason — everything is clean, stylish, and thoughtfully set up. The rooftop view of Westlake is stunning, especially at sunset. They’ve kept the same high standard across all their places. Will return for sure!

Hanoi was our first destination in Vietnam and we are glad that we booked our stay here with Hoai Anh’s place at the Pent Studio apartments. Our co-host Mr. Elite was extremely helpful right from the beginning and he helped us out to book our taxi from Hanoi airport too. We wanted to rent a motorbike and he even arranged for a person to connect with us for that. The place was fabulous, just like shown in the pictures, cozy and very welcoming indeed. A huge shout out to the hosts, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly, thank you ❤️ Hope to visit back soon.

I had a very nice stay here. Room was clean, just as described and well furnished. The location is in the central area so it is very convenient to move and explore Hanoi. The host is friendly, responsive and very helpful during my stay. Very satisfied and will come back again sometime

Nice apartment in a great location. Close to lots of great restaurants and cafes. Very walkable to train street and Old Quarter. Apartment was clean and as pictured in the photos. Loved that there was a refrigerator and washing machine in the unit. The apartment is perfect for solo travelers. Would highly recommend!

Mr Nam's home in the heart of Hanoi is a perfect glimpse into the local life. The location is perfect, easy walking to many shops, restaurants and of course, the beautiful Hoan Kiem lake. Located just above the a mall with many restaurants and amenities. One of the more well maintained and clean unit in times city as they did a renovation recently. However, the neighbors are quite active and loud and you can hear them speaking and chatting after 11pm close to midnight even.

Min was very helpful with everything and anything I needed, the communication was clear and fast an the place was very clean and exactly like described. I’ll book this apartment again when I’m back in Hanoi. Thank you Min!

Our stay with Areca homestay was perfect. I love how responsive Christine is and how interactive the receptionist: Nadian and Levi. They recommended us some foods and souvenir shop to go. Tho it is quite far to the old quarter, you can rent a motorbike to travel and tour around nearby places. It is best if you inform them about your arrival as the front desk will close around 9pm. Overall, we had a good stay. Will recommend areca homestay :)
