Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Axarquía

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. Inside the property was extremely clean and we felt right at home. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well layer out and easy to use. The views were even better than the photos. The outside area had everything you could want and the pool was very refreshing during the high heat. The journey there was made easier by Lourdes driving in front of us upon first arrival, after this, we felt comfortable to drive in and out on our own. Perfect hosts, perfect property. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful villa up in the hills. Our host Pepe was fantastic -meeting us at a pre-arranged location and driving with us directly to the house despite a very late (2am!) flight arrival. The gardens and land around the house are beautifully tended and Pepe took great pride showing us around and we benefitted with fresh grown beans, artichokes, spinach, oranges, lemons….and of course daily eggs from the chickens! It’s approx 15min drive to the nearest towns/supermarkets and 40min into Malaga, but if you want peace and quiet in the middle of stunning scenery then this villa is ideal.

Wat een fantastische ervaring! We hebben een maand mogen genieten van dit heerlijke vakantiehuis van Carlo en Kelly. Vanaf het eerste moment ontvingen zij ons warm en ontzettend gastvrij. Wat een top hosts! Niets was hen gedurende ons verblijf te veel en de responstijd op berichten voorafgaand en tijdens ons verblijf was erg snel. Het huis zelf is prachtig: ruim, stijlvol ingericht en brandschoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig- van een volledig uitgeruste keuken tot comfortabele bedden, linnengoed en handdoeken tot een diversiteit aan buitenzitjes. En dan de ligging...adembenemend! Het huis ligt prachtig op een berg met een fenomenaal uitzicht over de omgeving. Elke ochtend wakker worden was een cadeautje. Rust, comfort en natuur kwamen hier perfect samen. Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een combinatie van comfort, natuur een oprechte gastvrijheid.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

Really outstanding, I've done a lot of Airbnbs and this was one of the all time winners! Very rustic, outstandingly beautiful, a unique atmosphere, and Paul is truly welcoming. Like living in a Moorish village 700 years in the past, but with a swimming pool...

Great place to stay! Amazing view! We enjoyed it. If you have a toddler it doesn’t fit for the family of 2 adults and a child because there is not enough place inside. There are not enough cuttlers in the kitchen. There are many insects outside the house.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Pablo et Laura sont des hôtes très accueillants, sympathiques et extrêmement réactifs. La communication a été fluide dès la réservation, et l’est resté jusqu’au check out. La maison est parfaitement équipée, tout a été pensé pour que les locataires soient à leur aise. Le logement est décoré avec goût, et le cadre très agréable. Je recommande à 100%, nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci pour cet accueil.

Nancy is a wonderful host. Extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. We had a fantastic time in her modernised but traditional village house. The only disappointment is if you enjoy swimming: the village pool wasn't open like expected from June. It looked disused when we visited it, but maybe they'll get around to cleaning it in the next few weeks. All in all, lovely village with friendly locals, a beautiful town house, and a great host. Beli was a wonderful host, communication was great before and during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing apartment just as described and shown in the photos. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and was in a very nice area right beside the beach and a short walk from the centre of Torre Del Mar Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again

Hemos estado tres días y no hemos podido estar más a gusto. El apartamento tiene una ubicación magnífica con bares, supermercados y, sobre todo, la playa a escasos metros. Además estaba todo impecable. Una opción genial para una escapada o estancias más largas.

El apartamento en realidad es más amplio de lo que parece en las fotos,estaba todo muy limpio y no le faltaba de nada. Está situado en la parte alta del pueblo,pero con buen acceso a las playas y restaurantes,tiene una plaza de garaje cubierta y amplia,y por último la terraza es una maravilla con unas hermosas vistas del mar y bastante espacio para tomar el sol en las hamacas y cenar o comer en ella.

Maria’s place was stunning. An absolute gem. The beach is in legit 1 minute walking distance. Great restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Her response time is faster than Usain Bolt. I would be super happy to stay at her place once we go back to Malaga. Which I will definitely do! Thanks Maria for everything! 😊😊

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, alles vorhanden und sehr sauber. Wir waren 2 Wochen dort nach einer Woche wurde geputzt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Super Service. Nuria ist sehr nett und immer erreichbar. Mit netten Tipps und Hinweise für Aktivitäten. Der Pool und die Terrasse sind super. Wir haben immer in der Strasse einen Parkplatz gefunden, waren aber oft nur kleine Lücken um zu parkieren. Wir waren froh haben wir einen Mini Cooper. ;-) Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

we hebben heerlijke dagen gehad ! zo genoten van het mooie uitzicht vanaf het ruime balkon, bijna elke dag dolfijnen zien langs zwemmen. Tip neem een verrekijker mee ! Verder zijn we naar. Gibraltar geweest met de kabelbaan omhoog, aapjes gezien en daar een dolfijnen trip gedaan. Ook nog naar de Sierra de Nevada geweest, erg indrukwekkend. Misschien wel tot een volgende keer !

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait chez Joaquin. Dès notre arrivée, il s’est montré extrêmement accueillant, attentionné et professionnel. L’appartement est superbe, décoré avec goût et en excellent état. Rien ne manque : la cuisine est parfaitement équipée, les ustensiles sont de qualité, la literie est très confortable, les rangements bien pensés… tout est là pour se sentir comme chez soi. Mais la vraie pépite, c’est le penthouse lui-même, un lieu incroyable, lumineux, calme, avec une vue magnifique. Joaquin a été l’un des meilleurs hôtes que nous ayons rencontrés sur Airbnb : toujours disponible, réactif et d’une grande gentillesse. Un immense merci également pour avoir porté nos valises à l’arrivée un geste simple mais tellement apprécié ! C’est un sans faute. Nous reviendrons les yeux fermés. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Tohle ubytování byl opravdu zážitek. Manuel je opravdu skvělý a spolehlivý hostitel. Byt se nachází na dobrém místě. Velice nás potěšil gril na terase. Tohle ubytování mohu jen doporučit.

We stayed at Pedro’s flat due to a family gathering, our stay was only for four nights but could easily have stayed longer. Lovely flat, everything we needed was provided. Pedro is a great host, responded very quickly and was very helpful at check in. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our short stay, would definitely book again. We had a wonderful time at Sandra’s place. The garden is lovely, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. The apartment is perfect for a couple. Very well equipped. Sandra gave us lots of great tips on places to visit and restaurants. I highly recommend it! 🥰
