Fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. Unbelievably welcoming and even made us an omelette and amazing salad with dressing upon late arrival. Couldn’t have asked for more accommodating hosts! Made our trip very enjoyable. The house is lovely! Modern, clean and spacious and in peaceful rural settings while only being a short drive to central Lille. We really enjoyed staying here and felt as if we were at home, I would very highly recommend.

A super, quiet little gite - perfect for 2 plus a dog, lovely helpful hosts. The courtyard garden was secure and private, and everything we needed was here. There are lovely lake, towpath and forest walks within a few minutes drive, and several big supermarkets too. It's also an easy 40 minute drive to Lille, and the Belgian border isn't far either.

Corinne and Peter are fantastic hosts as you would wish. The place is really outstanding. Everything is available in very good quality and very spacious. A bubble of happiness at Marie Bonheur's. Peaceful, soothing, relaxing, the accommodation is conducive to disconnecting. It was perfect for us to visit the surroundings, but also to enjoy the calm as a family. Accommodation OK for 8-month-old babies. Nothing else to say. Spaces are bright. Special mention, in our opinion, for the kitchen: a treasure. The atmosphere of this accommodation deserves to be known. Marieke too. Her human warmth reigns in her home. We would recommend, talk about it and come back at the next opportunity.

Highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a relaxing get away. It was exactly as described. The location is absolutely beautiful. To say it was picturesque is an understatement. You can spend all day relaxing in the well equipped outdoor area. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use and all the beds were very comfortable. My family had a wonderful stay and I am confident you will to!
