There is a wide range of restaurants and coffee bars in the village which is around 15 minutes to the airport, and 36 km to Las Palmas city center. Arinaga belongs to the municipality of Agüimes, a charming canarian village.

Arinaga is considered one of the best diving and snorkeling areas on the island of Gran Canaria.
