Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Argostolion

This place is a hidden palace on the hill, located quite well for most things you may want to do in Southern Kefalonia. And if you want to stay there and do things at the furthest point north, it’s a 1h25m drive. We loved the cleanliness and quiet. There is one neighbor next door which appears be a mirror villa to this one. There is a little bit of noise from the airport but I found it enjoyable watching a planes take off. There aren’t many, perhaps 1-2 per hour. Gjon & his team are very kind and accommodating. The outdoor space is quite large and the pool is as big as it looks in the photos. I would estimate it to be about 15 meters (45 feet). There is enough parking space for several cars. The amenities inside are modern, and the whole place looks recently built or renovated. Everything works perfectly and it’s a great place to have as a home on the island. This place is flawless and it was a top tier experience. Put in Pantheon Villa Svoronata into GPS for a smooth arrival.

Fabulous stay at Kia's place. Our kids loved playing at the beach - sandy, gentle slope and much warmer water than other beaches on the island. We loved that the taverna opposite would bring food over for us to eat sat out on the patio after the kids had gone to bed. The house itself was comfortable, even if the kitchen is fairly basic. The garden is beautiful!

An absolute gem of a place. Emma and her mother made our stay simply perfect by providing everything we could have asked for and more. The spacious and comfy house was easy to find and super clean, offering every comfort needed. It offers a lot of privacy and quiet, along with incredible views of the surrounding sea and mountains (the visiting cats were a big plus!). It's location also makes it easy to get to one of the beautiful beaches or a great place to eat after only a short drive. We had an amazing time here and can't wait for a chance to return. We spent an amazing ten days at this lovely property. It took us by surprise on arrival, photos really don’t do it justice. The rear is nicely enclosed, and the front overlooks an olive grove. The garden around the property itself has an olive tree, several fruit trees, flowers and even a couple of tortoises. 🐢 Some local products were left in the kitchen for us when we arrived, always helpful! The area is not touristy at all, which we liked, but a car is essential if you want to explore the island properly. Good central location. There is on street park close by. Would definitely stay here again! 💙🇬🇷

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience staying at the cottage! The place was spotless, charming, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—close to the sea (you can hear the waves at night). I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, local recommendations, and a well-stocked kitchen. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Best air b and b I have stayed at so far!

Wow just incredible!! What an absolutely amazing holiday we had. Katerina Mare is perfectly position at the far end of the beach with the most amazing sea views. There is a little cove just to the left of the villa which we felt like was our own private beach away from the crowds, very quiet, peaceful & relaxing. Loved only having to walk a few steps to cool down in the sea. The accommodation is superbly kept, very clean with air con which is a must & the living space very comfortable. The outdoor area is second to none, we loved it that much we hardly went out, just to eat & drink at the good choice of restaurants & bars that are very close by. Finally we can’t thank Christos enough for being such a brilliant host. We would highly recommend this stunning place for anyone who fancies getting away from it all, an absolute gem!!

Die Insel Kefalonia ist schon eine Reise wert. Unser Aufenthalt bei Lambros machte den Urlaub zu einem perfekten Reiseerlebnis. Die eigentliche und brillante Gastgeberin vor Ort ist Maria, die Mutter von Lambros. Sie wohnt nebenan und empfängt und begleitet die Gäste über den gesamten Zeitraum des Aufenthaltes mit großer Herzlichkeit. Sie verwöhnte uns mit Kuchen und Marmelade und versorgte uns mit frischer Wäsche und hilfreichen Tips. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die große Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist das Herzstück der Unterkunft. Im oberen Geschoß sind zwei kleine Schlafzimmer mit nicht ganz so bequemen Federkernmatratzen. Das Haus ist gut mit dem (Miet) Auto erreichbar und der Ort Farsa, verkehrsgünstig unweit von Argostoli gelegen, ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Zusammgefaßt, eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft die es Wert ist, ein weiteres Mal besucht zu werden. Der Abschied ist uns wirklich schwer gefallen. Danke Maria für deine Warmherzigkeit❤️!

This was a great apartment to explore Argostoli and surrounding bays of Kefalonia, it was clean and comfy, bathrobes and slippers were a great touch. It was modern and we felt safe here. Clayde supported us with airport transfers, which was very helpful.

Amazing place. Views from the rooftop are incredible and inside very spacious. Located right on water surrounded by restaurants. Vera was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

The most modern accomodation you can get on the island, the apartment is brand new, spotless clean with amazing facilities and location. Super comfy bed and very quiet area that has a beautiful view from its spacious balcony. Our host went above and beyond to welcome us with a full overview of the top spots to visit, made us feel special. This is the best accommodation you can book, highly recommended.

I spent the holydays at Kefalonia with my family and we stayed at this place for 10 days. The host was very friendly and welcoming and would always respond to all our inquiries. The apartment is well-equipped and at a convenient location. You can easily reach the city center by walking. The neighbourhood is quiet which makes it really good for resting after a long day. There is free private parking on the property which is very helpful. Overall, I would very much recommend this place to anybody who plans to visit Kefalonia.

A delightful studio on the edge of a resort. In a beautiful setting with great views from the upper floor studios. The host goes out of his way to ensure you have all you need and share his knowledge of the island. The studio has all you need for a holiday.

Superb apartment, exactly as described beautifully clean with a superb location and beautiful views across the port of Argostoli. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Host Panagis come and met us even though we were earlier than anticipated and provided excellent communications when required and was a really nice guy who even arranged car hire for us. Would highly recommend staying at this apartment if you are ever lucky enough to visit the absolutely stunning island of Kefalonia

We spent a wonderful few days at Eagles Nest. The location is amazing, backed by magnificent mountains and overlooking sea views. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the pool was heavenly, a very peaceful place to relax and cool down with the sounds of nature all around you. Marina was everything you could ask for in a host, friendly and welcoming and always there to help if needed. Thankyou Marina, we loved our stay in Kefalonia, we’ll definitely be back!

I had a great time in the Airbnb and would totally recommend it. Everything was shiny new and clean ✨ the flat is very well located in Argostoli and everything is walkable. Also the bus station Ktel is just a few minutes walk. The communication with the host was very friendly and they waited - even my flight was delayed - in front of the Airbnb. Very thankful for this great experience 🙏🏻💙

Georgina was the amazing host. She met us in person as part of check in. She explained everything in and around the AirBnB. She helped us plan itinerary during our stay. She had many recommendations for places to visit and eat. She stocked her refrigerator with bottles of juice, wine, water and Ouze for us! Her place is equipped with high end appliances, Borsh. The place is in the middle of quiet neighborhood and walkable (less than 5 minute brisk walk) to the main shopping areas and the water front. There is a local super market just one street away. As more and more AirBnB are managed by corporates, Georgina definitely made us welcomed and connected. If you go there during Greek Orthodox Easter season, you may also taste her mom's home baked Easter biscuits like we did. :)

Apartment extremely cleaned, easy check in and very good communication. I just would suggest put some more pillows, but definitely I will come back!

Absolutely perfect stay in the heart of Lixouri! This house exceeded all expectations — immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with a stylish and modern touch, and incredibly convenient for everything you could need. It’s ideally located for exploring all the stunning nearby beaches, yet peaceful and quiet at night. What made it even more special was the thoughtful attention to families: the house was wonderfully equipped for a little toddler, with a comfy crib, toys, and little touches that made us feel completely at home. It’s clear the hosts truly care and go the extra mile. Highly recommended for anyone, including families — you’ll feel relaxed, welcomed, and truly taken care of in this lovely home.
