Having a casita has been a dream for our family for years. We love hosting friends, family, and travelers so having a dedicated space is so exciting. Our family self built the house over a two year time frame. We hope to finish the landscape by the fall of 2021. The space has fresh clean colors that remind of us the sky, streams, and oceans we love to visit in nature. It is equipped with a sink and microwave for warming snacks and beverages. Our comfortable home sits on three beautiful acres in the country and is located 75 minutes from Yellowstone Park and Grand Teton National Park, 45 minutes to Grand Targhee ski resort and 7 minutes to Rexburg and BYU-Idaho. Enjoy a separate entrance to our basement which has 5 themed bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large family room and kitchen/dining space. You may also want to enjoy the beautiful back yard, playground, deck, firepit and picnic spots. (Note: we live upstairs)

Hanks Cabin...your fishing and vacation home

Hanks Cabin is named after our great, great, great grandfather, Ephraim Hanks. We built this cabin in 2018 as a tribute to his life. The cabin is full of family history, antiques and furnishings. Whether you are fishing on the famous south fork of the snake river, traveling our beautiful area which includes Yellowstone park, Jackson Hole, or Grand Teton National Park.
