Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Ano Symi

The host was a lovely man who went above and beyond and was so helpful. The house was charming and walking distance to the old town and transport easily accessible. There is a lovely charming tavern right next door which did fantastic local Greek cuisine and catered so well for me being a vegetarian I adored their food could have eaten in there every night. Visiting the petting zoo is a must fantastic encounter with lemurs and various animals all saved from the wildfires. The aquarium was a good visit also. The old town was stunning but it is pricey. The host really took care of me and was always on the end of the phone for any help or instructions. Thank you so much for all you did I will never forget it. Love Lauren Gadd

Tudor was very friendly, kind and hospitable. He made us feel welcome and we very much appreciated the wine and snacks he left us, as well as other bits and pieces in the kitchen like oil and salt & pepper. I was especially grateful to him for lending me walking poles for a sore hip.

Fantastic location, quiet yet close enough to the nice town of Faliraki. Everything you need is walking distance. Boat dock is outside your doorstep to take you on lovely day trips :)

We loved our stay here! The hosts mother lives below the apartment and greeted us as we arrived, took us upstairs and showed us around. She was so sweet and helpful and would greet us whenever we walked by in the coming days. The apartment is perfectly situated in a quiet area. It’s two blocks from a grocery store, a ten minute walk from the beach and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction from the old city. Would totally recommend.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was hard to pick a location in Rhodes because we had 3 days and wanted to see different parts of the island. We settled on this one because it is close to Rhodes Town but also across the street from a nice, quiet beach. It is about a 25 minute walk into the old town, but a quick drive. There is lots of parking outside the apartment. The beach is immediately across the street and the apartment has beach gear. There are a number of restaurants and shops nearby and the marina is a quick walk. The apartment has been fully renovated and is in great shape. Greg was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again if we return to Rhodes!

Öncelikle Can beyin güler yüzlü ve samimi davranışından çok memnun kaldık. Evin konumu ambiansı ve temizliği gayet iyiydi. Bahçedeki havuz ve yeşillikler çok keyifli bir deneyim yaşatıyor. Mutfakta gerekli her malzeme bulunuyor. Tekrar Selimiye’ye geldiğimde kesinlikle konaklayacağım yer burası olacak.

It's in a great location in the old town. Our host met us at the walls of the old town and walked us to the apartment pointing out important local things on the way. The place is well supplied and we enjoyed the wine.

Το σπίτι ήταν τρομερό, με ένα μπαλκονι με φανταστική θέα. Υπεράνετο για 6 άτομα, μιας και είχε 3 υπνοδωμάτια. Από το πάρκινγκ είχε 5 λεπτά περίπου κατάβαση από σκαλάκια. (Τα σκαλάκια ήταν λίγο κουραστικά για κάθε μέρα αλλά τα περισσότερα σπίτια στη Σύμη έτσι είναι, και χειρότερα). Συμφώνησε όλη η παρέα ότι ήταν πολύ καλή επιλογή να μένουμε λίγο πιο πάνω από τη χώρα του νησιού και οχι τόσο κεντρικά, ήταν ήσυχα και το απολαύσαμε. Ο Νίκος πολύ εξυπηρετικός οικοδεσπότης. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ Νίκο!

What an amazing stay at Mrs Sevasti’s place. The accommodation is traditional (which we liked) and spotlessly clean. The veranda is the highlight - so peaceful with beautiful views over the harbour. Mrs Sevasti’s place is reached by steps which would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues but it is definitely not as high up as a lot of other rentals. It was high enough for fantastic views and a quiet nights sleep without being right at the top of the hill. Mrs Sevasti was quick at responding to messages and even arranged for someone to collect us from the ferry and drive us with our luggage. This coupled with arriving to a bottle of wine was a really lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at Melina’s place. It was very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. We came with a bike, so it was a short walk through the village to get there, with a car it would be a bit more, but very enjoyable. We where very happy we stayed there and not closer to the port. Melina is an amazing host, very helpful, and extremely likable, she went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Totally recommend the place!

Amazing place! We stayed for a few days in Symi for a wedding and honestly, this little place was one of our weekend highlights! The view is to die for, the apartment has everything you need and the location is perfect. There are a few stairs to get there but the photos don’t do the apartment justice! Thanks for having us!

Sevasti’s place is a gem, the location is ideal close to the city center, restaurants, supermarkets and the port. The view is amazing and the apartment is super convenient and quiet. We had the best time in Symi! Thank you so much

Notre séjour à Symi était parfait. Johnny a de trés bonnes recommandations et se rend trés disponible et à l’écoute. Le logement est dans les hauteurs donc il faut aimer monter les nombreuses marches. Mais cela donne un autre point de vue sur la ville,l’appartement est propre. Je recommande

The balcony views are wonderful, the location is really peaceful and so quiet at night. Pedi is a gorgeous bay, a few nice walkable restaurants and easy to reach the bus to get over to the main town. Dimitris was very easy to reach and the self check in/ out very convenient- it is easy to spot the house from the bus and very easy to reach by taxi at the new marina just up a some stairs. We had a lovely time watching the world go by from the terrace, and took a boat trip around the island visiting all the highlights which left from Pedi. Highly recommend getting the bus to the monastery in the south of the island and walking around the bay away from it- we saw two turtles bobbing around! Overall a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Το διαμέρισμα είναι ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες. Είναι καθαρό και cozy , ιδανικό για αισθανθείς «σαν το σπίτι σου» Ο οικοδεσπότης είναι φιλόξενος και πρόθυμος να απαντήσει κάθε απορία!

Had a great stay, the apartment is clean and comfy. Very close to the beach and many good restaurants nearby. There’s a kite surfing rental if one’s into that. And oh, cats, many cats!

Thank you for a fantastic stay, the location was very peaceful and within easy walking distance of everything you need. The garden space is beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Our host was very friendly and communication was great, we felt so welcome. Thank you for everything.

Дуже гарне житло з усім необхідним) Чисті зручні ліжка Комфортно. Кондиціонери працювали. Було все необхідне. Повністю укомплектована кухня. Ми їхали з немовлям. Для дитинки були окремі рушники ліжечко та горщик. У ванній було також все необхідне , необхідні дрібнички, які зазвичай потрібно везти з собою. Марія потурбувалась максимально про наш комфорт. Була дуже привітною Та на наш пізній приїзд зустріла нас з фруктами та їжею. (В той пізній час ми вже б не мали змоги купити їжі) це було дуже гарним жестом з її боку. Протягом всього перебування вона контактувала з нами та запитувала чи все добре Ми дуже вдячні Сподіваюсь приїхати ще раз:)

Πολύ όμορφο και πεντακάθαρο δωμάτιο, φωτεινό, με απίστευτη θέα από το μπαλκόνι που είναι ακριβώς πάνω από την θάλασσα και την παραλία. Η κουζίνα έχει όλα τα απαραίτητα και το μπάνιο είναι καινούργιο και μοντέρνο. Είναι σε κεντρικό σημείο, κοντά στην Παλιά Πόλη, σε μαγαζιά, εστιατόρια κτλ. κι η στάση του λεωφορείου κι ο σταθμός ταξί είναι δίπλα. Πολύ ευγενική και φιλική η Λίλιαν, απαντούσε πάντα γρήγορα, μας έδωσε σαφείς οδηγίες για το σελφ τσεκ ιν και τις προτάσεις της για την πόλη και τα μαγαζιά! Ο δρόμος έχει μπαράκια και μουσική το βράδυ, αλλά αυτό δεν μας εμπόδισε να κοιμηθούμε και να περάσουμε καλά. Είναι value for money και οπωσδήποτε θα το προτιμήσουμε ξανά!!!

Marina was an excellent host. The house was even larger than I had anticipated, and the location was incredible. It was just a 3-minute walk to popular beach clubs and nice restaurants, and a 20-minute walk to the ferry port. The house was clean, and the beds were genuine large-size beds, not two twins pushed together, making them very comfortable. Although it was July and extremely hot outside, the air conditioning kept the house cool. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rhodes. Thanks, Marina!
