Vacation rentals with a patio in Amden

The place is better than the photos! The apartment is in midst of a valley, Very peaceful and has beautiful surroundings. Sophia is very proactive in her communication and welcomed us with a beautiful message. Apartment was large enough to accommodate the 6 of us. It is beautifully decorated and has all the required amenities. Kitchen has also been thoughtfully stocked with all things required for a comfortable stay. Please note - this place is a little far from from the main train grid it is connected through a 20 min bus ride which runs every hour from morning till late night. We didn’t have any problem with this and the buses run on time.

Quiet area within walking distance to restaurants and shops

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Ein perfekter Aufenthalt für alle, die Tiere und die Natur lieben. Wir haben den Alltag und sogar die Angst vor Hunden vergessen. Die Wohnung ist modern-heimelig eingerichtet, alles war blitzblank und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir durften unvergessliche Tage auf dem Hof verbringen und haben viele Einblicke in den Betrieb bekommen. Wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder.

Milan's apartment is amazing and he is very hospitable and friendly. It is located in a large square in the heart of the old town with dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The Zurich HB train station is a 10-15 minute walk and there is a full-size grocery store a few hundred meters away. We did not expect to need AC in Zurich in June, but the temperature was above 90F for two days, so we were very happy to have AC in Milan's apartment - many rentals do not have it. Note that the unit is on the 5th and 6th floors (plus a rooftop terrace on the 7th), and there is no elevator. Milan's family owns the cafe on the ground floor, and they graciously volunteered to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. If you have an early flight on your way out of Zurich, you may have to carry your own luggage down, but gravity helps. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, the kitchen is well-appointed, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are modern. Very highly recommended.

Gorgeous apartment! Very comfortable for my family and great location to explore Lake Lucerne. Mareen and Hesham were great hosts, always responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!!

Tolle Unterkunft für zwei Familien mit Kindern. Viele Spielplätze in der Umgebung, nahe beim See. Kommen gerne wieder :)

Wir haben alles super gut gefunden: gut sortierte Küche und im Bad alles vorhanden wie Handtücher, Duschgel und Haarföhn, Bett mit frischer Bettwäsche bezogen; kleine Veranda mit Gartenmöbel und Gasgrill zum abendlichen Essen; kurze Wege zum Bahnhof und Bushaltestelle trotz Nähe zum Zentrum sehr ruhig.

Tous est très propre, et y tous ce qu’il fallait pour notre séjour d’une semaine en petite famille . Merci pour votre chaleureux accueil, pour les œufs frais de votre poulailler. C’est magnifique petit mouton, ont adorer. On c’est promener dans le village et dans la forêt autour, très simpa. La nuits on a croiser des petits cerfs 🥰 sur la route. Merci Eva et Yves

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

This place was beautiful! It’s such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the lake and quite accessible to lots to do (assuming you have a car). Everything was very clean and it felt brand new. The amenities were great, there was even a washer/dryer! Everything is automated - lights, AC, blinds. For Europe, having AC in the summer is a must and was really important to us, so we were glad that it worked seamlessly. Riad was also a great host, communicated very well and responded promptly.

We had the best time at this place! The layout was much larger than it looks. We had plenty of space. The tap water was so fresh to drink. It was close to all the attractions. It was so clean! The view of the mountains and castle was perfect. We had the best time!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Sigis wunderschönen Wohnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend - ruhig und mit super Wanderungen und dennoch bekommt man alles was man braucht in der Nähe. Sigi ist super freundlich, hilft einem sofort und lässt einen sich wie zu Hause fühlen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen auf dem Balkon bei dieser Aussicht ist eine Sensation - das wird uns sehr fehlen! Auch die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hervorragend - alles da und wunderbar wohnlich, sodass man sich einfach nur wohl fühlen kann. Auch unserem Baby hat es super gefallen :) danke Sigi für die tolle Zeit bei Dir!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft! Anna ist eine unglaublich herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, ruhig und ideal zum Abschalten. Wir haben uns in diesen Ort verliebt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Sehr schönes Appartement. Zwar keine Küche vorhanden, aber dafür ein kleiner Kühlschrank, kleiner Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Besteck und Gläser. Orlando war super nett und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Ruhige Lage in einer Siedlung. Auf dem Balkon konnte man die startenden Flugzeuge des Flughafens noch sehen und etwas hören. Nachts haben wir davon allerdings nichts mehr gehört trotz offenem Fenster. Sehr tolle und saubere Unterkunft mit moderner Einrichtung. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

Brian was a very friendly and welcoming host who went out of his way to make us feel at home. He greeted us with chocolate upon check-in and shared great local tips on places to visit, including attractions we wouldn’t have found on our own. At the end of our stay, he even helped us tidy up, which was incredibly thoughtful. We’d definitely stay here again!
