Vacation rentals with beach access in Amatique Bay

Great place to rent in the village of Placencia. Excellent response and accommodation from staff. Clean, updated, comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Fue una maravillosa estancia! Los apartamentos están a pie de playa donde puedes perder infinitas horas viendo los animales hacer su vida, los delfines pasar y si tienes suerte los manatís comer. El apartamento era práctico y con una localización inmejorable. Tricia y Doug nos atendieron super bien desde el primer minuto, dan ibstrucciones muy útiles y están siempre atentos! Seguro volveremos algún día!

Great stay at the Aerie at Moonrise Beach. Flexible check-in when we were running a little late. Jessie and the team were very proactive and responsive with information and checking to see if things were going well. The studio was a great space with wonderful views. The road coming was a little rough but the accommodation was spot on. Would advise repellent for the bugs (I have several very itchy bites!) but a very good and peacefully time other than that.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Nicolle’s property at Lazy Pam Suites in Placencia! The unit looked exactly how it was displayed on the pictures including the beach view! Check in and check out were a breeze. Karissa, the property manager, was extremely helpful from beginning to end. She answered all of our questions promptly and gave local recommendations for our needs. The property also included security cameras and personnel who kept watch of everyone entering and exiting the premises. They also close gates around the building late at night even though the area is already extremely safe! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

Stayed for a week and had a wonderful experience. Candace , the property manager, was fantastic! From the time I first contacted her right up until my departure everything was great. Candace picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, gave me a tour of Placencia, offered breakfast and dinner recommendations, and coordinated day events in the area. I highly recommend Candace and the properties she manages.

Excelente anfitriona, fue muy amable y nos ayudó a acomodar el horario a uno que fuera más conveniente para nuestro grupo. La casa es tal y como en las fotos, e incluso más bonita, estaba equipada con todo lo esencial y el velador fue puntual a la llegada y la salida. Muy buena experiencia.

Mirko was an extremely helpful host! The place is beautiful and walkable to the start of all of our Sittee River adventures (bioluminescence tour and snorkeling) Having bikes was great to bike into “downtown” Hopkins from the house

My family and I are extremely grateful for the hospitality. Johana and Mario are very warm and friendly. The property is wonderful!!! Very well located. We highly recommend it (we hope to return soon!!!)

Andrea and Victor were very welcoming, and kind. He brought us coconuts left complimentary bread and had everything we needed 😇 beautiful house, and only steps way from the beach 💙

An incredible host. Very responsive, kind, and welcoming. Kat greeted us when we arrived and was present when needed but not intrusive. Kat had plenty of recommendations for local businesses, and it's clear she's connected with her community as she reached out for solutions to a major sunburn. The place was very clean, full of amenities, and very comfortable. We had been planning this trip for over a year, and Kat was very communicative through the whole process. Highly recommend her place(s).

Las villas muy bien cuidadas, el área compartida de piscina y jardín la mantienen impecable, el anfitrión siempre atento y responde rápido a cualquier inquietud, la ubicación en relacion a la playa esta aproximadamente a 5 minutos caminando, tienes cerca varios restaurantes si deseas salir, pero si cocinas en casa la cocina esta muy bien equipada, solo para tener en cuenta la ubicación esta frente a una calle transitada, por lo que, si deseas mayor tranquilidad y menos ruido de vehículos por la mañana recomiendo que soliciten una de las dos villas que están en la parte de atrás. Sin duda es una muy buena opción para hospedarse en Tela.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa Telamin. Easy check-in, spotless linens and pan de coco waiting for us upon arrival. The downstairs hammock area was wonderful and being close to the beach made for a tranquil and beautiful stay. We also made use of the board games in the home. The care taker of the home checked in on us and cut down coconuts from the backyard which was wonderful on a hot sunny day.

This villa was in a great location, in the center of the peninsula, making everything equally accessible. The space was very clean and the AC worked great! We really enjoyed the pool in the evenings and the view of the sea while swimming. The restaurant across the road has a perfect view of the sunset. The sunrise view from the balcony of the villa was so wonderful! We extended our stay because we enjoyed the villa so much.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Host was very accommodative and responsive. She also gave the space that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. There was an issue with random raccoons running around at a place nearby and host went out her way to make sure we made it to the house safely. She also forewarned us about the construction that was happening nearby which I found very respectful and we truly appreciated it. Will recommend and will stay again, Most High’s will.

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estadía en el apartamento de playa . La comunicación con Ana fue impecable y siempre servicial . Al llegar al lugar el check in y check out sin problemas , las áreas muy limpias y todas las amenidades tal como están descritas .
