Great Escape Carriage House

Casey LeeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend. The place was perfect for the two of us. We really enjoyed the bicycles. We were able to bike everywhere went. Unless we chose to venture out further. The beach was just a short bike ride across the beautiful board walk located behind the carriage house that lead directly to the beach. We loved Rosemary Beach and the community and we’ll definitely be back!

The Hydeaway Inlet Beach

NadiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Hydeaway! The guest house had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The best part was its unbeatable proximity to the beach—just a short barefoot walk away. With two young kids (ages four and seven) I highly recommend staying at the Hyde's vs locations further from the beach. I can't emphasize this enough. I will also share that the beach entrance from their home is much more idyllic then some of the others. The beach situation is truly 10/10 ( my family can be tough critics since most of trips to the beaches have been to Turks and Caicos). We even went to the beach at night and our kids got to experience a beach glow stick party (one of my favorite memories from the trip). I will attach a photo for inspiration (pack glow sticks). The Hyde's provided the chairs for the beach, e-bikes (huge hit around town) and insider information that helped improve our itinerary! This overall experience has filled us with gratitude.

30A - Walk to Beach - Pool - Golf Cart - Bikes

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a really nice week here. Perfect for families! Overall, really great stay. We did have a couple of issues. The electricity in the front bedroom (light/fan) did not work and this was not communicated before we arrived. The host did get an electrician out there to fix it, but he couldn’t come until our last night, so that room was a little uncomfortable with a loud box fan and only lamps. But, we made it work! Also, the blender provided did not work and we only found out after pouring all the ingredients in. There were a ton of sugar ants in the kitchen and we cleaned countertops and everything up every night. But could not beat the location and other amenities (pool especially) at the house. Everything you need for the beach is there and the host was always very responsive to our messages. We would recommend this stay to others. Thank you for a great week!

Stepping Stone - Your Perfect Getaway Retreat

JackieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Stepping Stone was the perfect location for our first family vacation with our 5 month old son. While the space was small, it was cozy and functional for our needs. The hosts provided a pack ’n play, which we were able to partially tuck into the closet with the doors open so we could still enjoy the TV after putting him to bed at night. Note: there is no door separating the bedroom from the living area. The home had all the basic necessities, and although it was minimal, we were able to make everything work just fine. The only minor downside was the low water pressure in the shower, but otherwise, we had a wonderful experience. We’d definitely recommend to other small families or couples looking for a great location and comfortable stay in Rosemary Beach.

Private Cottage for 2*Steps to Beach*Hot Tub*Bikes

JosephRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you’re considering this place, just go ahead and book it already. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was incredible. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive, the location is great, extremely private but still in the middle of the action. Everything is exactly as it looks in the photos, and it’s complete with all the amenities you need to have an incredible stay. Even the boardwalk to the beach is actually 260 steps away from the front lawn like the sign say. Yes, I counted. We will definitely be back. Thank you Dana and Mario for making our trip extraordinary.

Salt & Sand 30A - 3br/2.5ba Luxury Home+Golf Cart

LexiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Just got back from our stay and we LOVED our visit! EJ and Kimber gave us a bunch of information from the start and we loved following their insta page to bookmark some spots before our trip. They were responsive, flexible with our check-in, and checked on us after our first night to see if we needed anything. There were so many details that made us feel more comfortable, labels on the lights, games and puzzles, beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys, the toiletries (including liquid soap instead of those awful hotel bars!), printed directions in the laundry and by the trash cans, and lots of hangers and space to unpack. We loved the location, it was easy to grab drinks at the big chill or order lunch to eat by the pool. Our favorite beach access was the Deer Park, it was closest and the walk was pretty. We never had an issue finding parking or a good spot at the beach! Thank you so much EJ and Kimber!

2nd Floor @ The Pointe! Walking distance to the be

CollinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing stay. My wife and I stayed on our quick babymoon and just loved it. You’re SO close to the beach, to the restaurants and shops in Rosemary without overpaying at all. More than enough space for us as there was a total extra bedroom, bathroom, etc. everything you need, super clean, pool area very nice and peaceful getaway after a beach day. This location is pretty incredible for the price. With the bikes you can get to anywhere, closest beach access is perfect. Even at 8 months pregnant, my wife was able to walk pretty much everywhere. We literally walked from the beach to playa bowls and back and then back to the unit to use the pool every day with no problem. Highly highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay, especially if you want to rent bikes or have a walkable area to be in. The beach, not something the host is responsible for, is a bit crowded. If you are staying in Seacrest and want a 1 bedroom - this is your place!

Your guide to Alys Beach

All About Alys Beach

Pronounced “Alice” Beach, this dreamy seaside enclave mixes the porcelain sands and emerald waves of Florida’s Gulf Coast with white-walled Bermuda-style cottages, grand courtyards, and palm-fringed cobblestone alleys. The planned community of Alys Beach’s 158 acres was developed in 2003 according to the principals of New Urbanism, meaning the town is super pedestrian-friendly and there are plenty of buzzing plazas and shared green spaces for festivals and events. The restaurants are delicious, the pool complex is spectacular, and the yearly Digital Graffiti event draws artists from all over the world, projecting their work on the town’s architecture.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Alys Beach

The best times to visit Alys Beach are just before and immediately following the hot, humid, crowded summer, when temperatures are in the high 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit and the lows remain in the 70s. April and May offer lovely warm temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s with low humidity and are therefore popular with families. October is widely considered an ideal month to visit for the same reasons. Hurricane season lasts from early June to late November, peaking in August and October, and temperatures drop to the 50s and 60s in wintertime, clearing the beach out. (Note that some businesses keep irregular hours during this time of year, or even close completely.)

Depending on when you decide to visit, be sure to pack sun protection and/or raingear, as those afternoon summer storms have been known to catch a few visitors off-guard. And don’t forget the flip-flops.
