Our cottage, located in the heart of the Dordogne Valley, has been designed to offer you a haven of peace and serenity at the foot of the medieval castle of Castelnau-Bretenoux. Our cottage for 4 people will offer you all the comfort to enjoy the wonders of the region: The medieval city of Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac, Collonges-la-Rouge, Martel, Loubressac, Autoire, or Carennac.... Natives of the country, we will be able to advise you on the places and activities not to be missed.

Our character gite is a charming restored barn built in 1827, enjoying glorious elevated south-facing views over hillsides to a quaint village far below. The light-filled & spacious 90m2 gite has generous bedrooms, a large open plan living area and full kitchen. Stunning views from all rooms & the pool. Continental breakfast provisions included. A superb base for exploring and 'getting away from it all' in rural France, while remaining close to amazing sights and 5 mins from amenities.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Guests can enjoy a pleasant and spacious terrace as well as a nice pool area!! 3×6×1.25 pool, secured with a bar cover. Your cars will be safe in the enclosed courtyard. Totally enclosed land. Nearby, possibility to swim in the Dordogne (1 km). Intermarché 2 km away. Restaurant and bars nearby, very touristy village! Two-bedroom cottage, Le Bois de Faral

Extra bed linen and towels: €9 per person. Le Bois de Faral is a gites village, respectful of the environment. Not just for the beautiful environment in the Lot, but because we humans, live in this environment that we would want as healthy as possible to be well there. Play in the pool, do nothing, watch the kids... enjoy. Not sure what to do? Don't want to do anything? We offer each other, with no sense of priorities.
