The apartment has a sleeping alcove with a 150 cm double bed. The accommodation is located in a single-family home, but the dorm has its own entrance on the side of the house. In the single-family home, the family who owns the apartment, so it's a short way to help if you need anything. Heated floors throughout the apartment. Washing machine available. Here there is good opportunity for hunting, fishing and mountain hiking just nearby. The area has many hiking trails of different levels of difficulty and length. In the winter there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobile activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island with no mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

Mikkelsby house by Altafjord

35 km from Alta Airport (45 min drive). 217 km to Nordkapp. Dogs are welcome! The house has been in my family for generations and has been built up after the war. The property is entirely for themselves by the sea. 40 minutes from Alta. NB! Winter time (October - May) you have to ski or snowshoe about 1.5km. Her er du tett på naturen, med en fantastisk fjordutsikt. 41 minutter med bil fra Alta Lufthavn (36km) I Kviby er det en koselig liten matbutikk der det er mulig å handle matvarer. Denne ligger ca. 6km fra hytta, men har begrenset åpningstid. Det er 24 minutter med bil til alpinanlegg (22km), der er det åpent på vinteren. (Sarves Alta Outdoor Activity AS) Det kan også være mulig med flere beboere enn seks, ved forespørsel.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)
