Modern home in Alpine Meadows Tahoe

We have a completely refurbished home in the Heart of Alpine Meadows next to Squaw Valley and Tahoe City. Everything is brand new and redone by a bay area Interior designer. The house is a three bedroom with two baths. Master bedroom, king bed and flat screen tv. The Master has a lg bath, includes jacuzzi tub, and river rock shower. Deck off master bedroom accesses the back yard area. The second bedroom has two twins beds or can be put together as a king bed. Third bedroom has a queen bed with flat screen. There is a second bathroom next to the other bedrooms. Washer and dryer on bottom floor next to bedrooms. Upstairs there is a great room with tons of light and forest and mountain views. Fully equipped new stainless steel kitchen with bar area. Lg river rock fireplace with seating area and lg flat screen TV with entertainment system. Dining area seats 7. Outdoor deck with eating area, deck chairs and barbecue. View of forest and mountains. We take in furniture in Winter. Detached double garage for one car to park inside (boat stored in Winter on one side) plus parking for two other cars in front of house. Easy flat access off street into garage. Must let passengers out first before pulling all the way inside garage . There is side door to access covered stairs that go down to front door of house. Salt in garage if slippery with for ice on stairs. Use handrail in Winter. Careful of falling snow or icicle's off roof line. Road is snow plowed regularly, may have snow around outside cars. Shovels in garage. Things to do in summer: One mile up from Truckee River and River Ranch, Rafting, mountain biking/road biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and swimming out your front door. Bike trail to Tahoe City is also one mile from home. Park at bottom of hill fresh water pond with beach, barbecue area and tennis courts. Family day pass $40 15 minutes to Truckee by car and 10 minutes to Tahoe City. Great hiking just down the street (5 Lakes and Shirley canyon squaw. I’m pet friendly but $175 fee. I have to clean carpets more regularly and vacuum more. Winter Season Amazing location to Alpine Meadows ski resort , 1 mile to parking lot. There is a mountaineer shuttle that comes right to door if add App . Hot tub on lower deck Peekaboo view of alpine mountain . Large fireplace . Decks Off main area and master . Cozy great room Bathroom and bedrooms all downstairs. Rates will vary according to season and holidays) 7 night min on New Years , Christmas and Ski week. Alpine Meadows ski resort is now connected to Squaw just a mile away. A perfect location for a winter and summer cabin. Two restaurants are located down the street from home. The River Ranch has indoor and outdoor dining in summer. All shopping is less than 10 minutes away in Tahoe City. Safeway or new moon natural foods. Access to Lake Tahoe, restaurants, grocery stores and shops is only a 3 miles away. Squaw resort next street over , about 10 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. There are lot of restaurant's and fun activities at squaw . Summer Also Lake Tahoe beach and park is close by and accessible by bike. 3 miles Secret spot Layton park w picnic tables and can access water w little crowds. Commons beach 🏖️ with swimming and rentals for Sup s and Children s park. Free Sunday concerts summer ! ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.
