We liked it very much and can only recommend the accommodation. You have to know that the accommodation is in a rustic style, but that did not bother us. S-Bahn is a 3-minute walk away. Potential starting point for hiking tours, and for recreation by the lake.

The location is perfect—nestled in the Alps and right by a flowing stream, we enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need.

We felt super comfortable. The location was perfect for our bike trips. The communication was always very friendly and fast. The place had everything we expected and left nothing to be desired. There's a lot of love in it. The big street in front of the house is relatively quiet at night and the windows are very well insulated, so no problem at all. We were here for a long weekend and it was a wonderful location. Very calm very peaceful. There is a pretty good bakery with groceries and a very nice Italian restaurant nearby. Perfect location to enjoy the nature. Offers to many activities around like hiking, biking etc. The host was also very helpful and communicated very well. I would definitely recommend this place.

The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany, which we could easily see from the balcony and even from inside the rooms. We had the pleasure of using the accommodation for our fishing holiday. There are many lakes and hiking trails in the area. So you won't get bored. The place is easy to reach and corresponded to the pictures in the listing. Everything was very clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. Susanne is extremely friendly and always easy to reach. We received many helpful tips on hiking, fishing and recommendations for restaurants and shopping directly upon arrival. All in all, the stay was perfect and highly recommended.

Annika's place is fantastic and I definitely recommend it. It is very clean, spacious, well furnished and equipped with every comfort. You can see the commitment with which Annika takes care of her. The garden and terrace then offer an appreciable added value in case there is good weather. The location is ideal because it is close to the lake and allows you to easily reach many other beautiful towns in the area. Supermarkets, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay at the villa south of Munich. The location was peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing while still being close to the city. The house was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to Munich and lake Starnberg.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.

We have as a complete family (8 adults, 4 children) vacationed together. The house is spacious, has a great location, is very well equipped and relaxing to live in even on rainy days.

The accommodation is very suitable for a larger group as there are many rooms and several bathrooms and toilets. As a large family (2 parents, 4 teenagers, aunt and grandfather), we appreciated the large dining table for socializing and playing games and enjoyed the large terrace with barbecue for the barbecue evenings. There is enough space for everyone to get together but also to rest alone. The hosts were very friendly and inquired about our well-being every day and responded quickly to our questions. The neighbors were also very friendly and even gave us tips for excursions and information about the area and its history. The area has many opportunities for activities of all ages: Excavated lakes for swimming, Ulm for sightseeing or shopping. But we liked the gelateria best, which is a 5-minute walk away:-)) It was a very nice weekend and we will be happy to come back! Warm, family

Very nice place to stay for a weekend with friends or family. Spacious kitchen, bathrooms and rooms. Separated from the lake only by the (non-disturbing) railway line, great view, very large playground on the lake, thermal baths and downtown within walking distance. We'd love to come back!
