The host family (father, mother,🐶 Jin,🐱 Maru) are all very kind. The entire house can be shared by two families without disturbing each other. The host can always respond at the first time. There is a beautiful landscape next to the house. It is also close to the city and the airport by car. It is a good place to visit again.

The stay was short, but I was very grateful for the politeness of the description of the inn!The best part was that the bed was very fluffy and I was tired of the day!!Thank you for staying at a nice place to stay with high DIY quality!I'll be back!!!

Our host Ryohei was very friendly and the place was cozy and very clean. We checked in late after seeing the Omagari fire festival but he was very kind to greet us. Although the geographical conditions are somewhat accessible, it is the best place to experience the quiet countryside of Japan.

Spacious private room and large panoramic starry sky Odate, Shiraizawa's old house and sunbathing day

We were very warmly welcomed by the two- and four-legged residents and felt right at home. The train station and bus stops are close by and easily accessible. However, the bus and train do not run as often and it is then a 40-minute walk to the nearest mini market. But we were prepared for it and wanted to do a lot of hikes. It's 2 hours after Odate. There is the Akita Center, good supermarkets and hot springs. Then we took the train back and had such eventful days. We took longer day trips to Hirosaki (1000 flowering cherry trees - definitely in good weather and on a day of the week) and Aomori (Nebuta Museum!). But the most important experience we were allowed to have in Shirasawa can be described in a word: Shōwa style. This stands for wooden furniture, tatami floors, retro design and coziness and is reminiscent of better, simpler times. We enjoyed it very much.
