Vacation rentals with a patio in Aghios Emilianos

We had a lovely stay at Hydra Serene Escape. Firstly, Maria was very friendly and responsive, and she provided very clear instructions about how to get into the property. The apartment was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed. On arrival we were greeted by Maria’s Mum, who was very friendly and gave us lots of water and cat food which was received well. We very much enjoyed staying in Kamini, which was a 15-20 minute walk from Hydra Port along either the gorgeous coastal path or through the beautiful (albeit hilly) streets of the town. Being this side of the town meant we were also only a 30-40 minute walk to Plakes Beach, which we would highly recommend. The highlight of our stay though was the apartment’s beautiful garden. We sat every morning enjoying the picturesque views and peaceful surroundings, listening to the birds while enjoying an iced coffee from the cafe (just at the bottom of the steps) and the company of the friendly local cats. Thanks for making it special!

Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

We had a fabulous time staying here. The hostess was lovely and made us feel right at home. The kitchen was stocked with everything, even a panini machine! The bathroom was clean and had many amenities. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The apartment is cozy! We would definitely come back to stay again.

This place is MAGICAL! Absolutely perfect for a couple or for 2-3 solo travelers for a long weekend. Nothing is more than a five minute walk, and it is SO close to the port!

Very close to Akelis beach, local supermarket and bakery, although a little further (still walkable c30 mins) from the main town. Great balcony and pictures as described

Stratos’ communication was exceptional. He accommodated an early arrival and met us at the port for our arrival. The walk to the accommodations served as a local guided tour and allowed time to learn about the island with Stratos. We would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect home away from home retreat: the house itself was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy peaceful meals together in the various communal spaces. It was conveniently located by a well-stocked supermarket, as well as within 10-15 minutes’ walking distance to the restaurants and beaches of Hydra. Our host sent us lots of recommendations and was friendly and responsive throughout our trip. We would be delighted to stay here again!

We LOVED Lijiao's beautiful, spacious, peaceful holiday home! Couldn't believe what brilliant value it was for the price. Would highly recommend if you want a quiet, peaceful break away in a lovely little Greek village. Lijiao was an excellent host - very friendly and helpful and the communication was brilliant. Thank you again , Lijiao!

Milva’s place is a stylish little oasis of calm. We stayed with our 7 year old and 17 month old and it was perfect for us. Milva’s attention to detail is obvious from the thoughtful welcome basket to the beautifully designed space. The outdoor area is a dreamy, peaceful place to spend time with a glass of wine - watching the glorious view and listening to the sounds. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the pool is lovely. The house is spotlessly clean, kept wonderfully by the two lovely cleaners who visit every couple of days. The house is just far enough from town to feel like a real escape but within 10 minutes, you can be eating at a Taverna in Porto Heli. Check in was perfect with Milva’s Dad George who was so welcoming and kind. Milva’s house is our favourite Air Bn’B to date and we will certainly be back. Thanks Milva and George!

Had a wonderful stay with a small group in this lovely villa. The accommodation was clean and modern but with traditional charm. The local area is stunning with lots to do including easy access to the island of Spetses. Theophilos was a friendly and attentive host who was very communicative and gave really helpful advice on the local area. Overall 10/10 - Will be back!

Το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα ήταν ότι είχαμε φανταστεί! Μαγευτήκαμε με την θέα, με την πισίνα, με την αρχιτεκτονική του σπιτιού, γενικά με ότι μας προσέφερε η βίλα!! Ήμασταν αρκετά άτομα και βρήκαμε αυτό ακριβώς που χρειαζόμασταν, ησυχία, χώρος, αισθητική, καθαριότητα. Η συμβολή του Αλέξανδρου ήταν επίσης καθοριστική, καθώς ότι κι αν χρειαζόμασταν ήταν στη διάθεσή μας, πράγμα πάρα πολύ σημαντικό, ειδικά αφού δεν ήμασταν απ την περιοχή. Προφανώς και θα το ξανα-επισκεφτώ στο μέλλον, ήταν τρομερή εμπειρία όλο το ταξίδι και σ αυτό συνέβαλε και το κατάλυμα!!!

We absolutely loved Joy House for our 2 nights in Hydra. We were met at the ferry and walked to the house with lots of local recommendations. We were allowed to check in an hour early which was so helpful. The place is beautiful and spacious for 4. I appreciated the small touches like bottles of water and Nespresso, and cream! I would return in a heartbeat! Choose this for your Hydra stay!

Nancy's home was absolutely perfect! It was super clean, beautifully decorated and Nancy provided all that we could possibly need for our stay (including accommodations for our children). She even had homemade lemonade, cake, fresh fruit and water ready for us upon arrival! She went above and beyond and we highly recommend. The location was also great - convenient, safe and peaceful. We will definitely be back and thank Nancy for the lovely stay.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a great spot close to the beach of Askeli. The port is quite close and the access to other villages and beaches is easy. Great value for money!

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Andra en Alexander. We kregen goeie tips voor restaurants en wat te bezichtigen en te doen. We zaten direct aan de haven met alle gezelligheid en ook supermarkt is dichtbij. Het appartement was super! We voelden ons direct thuis. Het appartement is met zorg ingericht en ziet er fantastisch uit. We hadden ons geen beter verblijf kunnen wensen.

Very cute apartment, well located, everything you need inside for a few days in Porto Heli. Luan was super responsive and friendly and this made our stay even better.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν στο σύνολο αρκετά καλή και το διαμέρισμα ήταν όπως μας το περιέγραψαν. Είναι πλήρως ανακαινισμένο και ειδικά το μπάνιο είναι πάρα πολύ καλό. Η κουζίνα ήταν πάρα πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένη με σκεύη και με πρώτες ύλες για μαγείρεμα όπως λάδι, αλλά πιπέρι κτλ. Ωστόσο ο χώρος δεν έχει καθόλου καλή μόνωση με αποτέλεσμα να είναι δύσκολο να κοιμηθούμε το βράδυ δεδομένου πως ο γείτονας έμενε έως τις 02:00 το πρωί στη βεράντα του και ακουγόταν μέσα στο δωμάτιο οι ομιλίες. Επίσης η πόρτα έχει ένα παράθυρο το οποίο δεν μπορεί να καλυφθεί με αποτέλεσμα να μπαίνει φως στο δωμάτιο και να είναι εξαιρετικά δύσκολο να μπορεί κάποιος να κοιμηθεί στον καναπέ. Ο καναπές δεν είναι καθόλου βολικός για ύπνο καθώς νιώθεις τα σίδερα από κάτω. Οι γείτονες κάπνιζαν από το πρωί στο με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορείς να ανοίξεις παράθυρο καθώς έμπαινε ο καπνός μέσα. Επίσης το internet έχει σοβαρό θέμα καθώς οι ταχύτητες είναι από ελάχιστες έως ανύπαρκτες.

An absolute gem! Avva and her family were so kind and allowed us go store our bags at their family business before check in so we could explore the Island free of luggage. It was a beautifully done room and bathroom with anything you could need. including a washing machine to wash your clothes! The bed was comfortable, and there was such a nice area outside to relax. We really would recommend to anyone coming to Hydra. Plus the location was perfect and close to all of the restaurants and shops on the island. Truly can't say enough about how perfect this place was, and the hosts were so kind and amazing. A 10/10 would do it again for us!

Das Apartment ist einfach großartig. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und zudem sehr sauber und geräumig. Es verfügt zudem über 2 große und einen kleinen Balkon, so dass man jederzeit zwischen Sonne und Schatten-Plätzen auswählen kann. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt und würden Stavroula und ihr Apartment jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Amazing place, direct acces to a beautiful beach. Really quiet. Beach equiped to rest. Nice welcoming, Angeliki was really nice. We would like to come back !
