We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

Excellent séjour, lieu agréable, charmant et reposant, une déco sympa dans un lieu vraiment mignon. Alexandra et son mari sont très agréables et réactifs, un plaisir de tomber sur des hôtes comme eux. Le logement est parfaitement équipé, impossible de manquer de quelque chose. Très bon jacuzzi, très agréable et complétement privé, à disposition quand on le souhaite et c'est un plaisir. Logement reculé, au calme et pourtant proche de commerces, très bien situé. Rapport qualité prix imbattable, je reviendrai sans soucis :)

Truly exceptional. A beautiful house with every possible amenity provided - private pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Fantastically comfortable bed, and luxurious bathroom. All gadgets of the highest quality. Effective air con throughout. If you’re in the area and are after privacy and luxury - this is the place!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

Nous avions choisi l’appartement de Aude pour sa proximité avec l’autoroute, sans toutefois aucun désagrément sonore, l’environnement est très calme. Nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu, aux alentours de 22h mais avons été très bien accueilli ! Le logement était conforme aux photos, facile à trouver et Aude à été très réactive. Le lit parapluie était déjà monté. Bref, une petite escale rapide et reposante sur la route des vacances ! Merci encore

The property is exceptional and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time and really appreciated the quiet position, excellent facilities and luxurious finishes. We will be coming back as soon as we can!

Maison impeccable, un vrai coin paisible, avec un très joli jardin, piscine jacuzzi et tous les équipements extérieurs. Nous nous sommes retrouvés en famille et organisé le baptême de ma fille et le repas sur la jolie terrasse, tout le monde était enchanté de l’environnement et de la maison. Propreté impeccable, hôte réactif, on a pu même entrer dans les lieux un peu plus tôt, les hôtes ont été très arrangeants. Je recommande pour de chouettes réunions familiales ou entre amis ! Seul tout petit bémol, il manquait quelques éléments de base, tels que du café, du sucre , par exemple. Nous avons dû aller acheter du café et du sucre en express le soir pour notre petit déjeuner du lendemain.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison en bord de Dordogne. L'emplacement est idéal, l'environnement calme et paisible, à proximité immédiate de Saint Émilion, Libourne, et de nombreux châteaux et vignobles. La maison est superbe, très confortable, parfaitement équipée, et fidèle à l'annonce en tous points. Pimprenelle et sa famille ont été aux petits soins pour nous, et nous ont donné d'excellents conseils de visites ou de bons restaurants dont nous avons bien profité. Nous recommandons à 100% !

Dit verblijf was ver boven onze verwachting. Na dat we foto's en reviews hadden bekeken waren we uiteraard al enthousiast, maar in het echt is het zo veel mooier! Het is gewoonweg fantastisch. De gite is prachtig ingericht en geeft je direct dat huiselijke gevoel. Je hebt ontzettend veel privacy, maar daarentegen genoeg ruimte om een heerlijke plekje te vinden in de fantastische tuin. Het zwembad was natuurlijk echt een hoogtepunt, heerlijk om na een dag sightseeing te kunnen loungen aan het zwembad en vergeet niet dat je daarbij nog eens je diner kunt bestellen, wat helemaal geweldig is! Alicia en Michael staan altijd voor je klaar, niets is te gek en ze komen graag een praatje met je maken of tips geven voor de omgeving, maar zijn zeker niet opdringerig en geven je echt de ruimte om te genieten. Wat een toffe plek hebben zij gecreëerd met z'n 2en. Echt een dikke 10 vanuit ons!

Fiona nous a chaleureusement accueilli. Elle a sué de montrer disponible et flexible sur l’entrée et le départ. Le cadre-jardin est sublime. Un endroit paisible pour se reposer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l’année prochaine.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine pour les fêtes de Noël pour voir notre père qui vit a Grand Brassac . Il y a quelques animaux ( poules, 2 ânes, 1 cheval, des oies, des moutons et des canards) dans un cadre très sécurisé et au calme Nous avons été chouchouté tout au long de la semaine Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir Merci a tous. Nous étions réunis en famille pour un week-end de Pâques malheureusement très pluvieux. Mais le logement est spacieux, les pièces sont grandes et tout s'est bien passé. Très satisfaits du gîte que nous connaissions déjà , sous un beau soleil et nous avions pu profiter alors du beau jardin, bien équipé.

Hébergement très confortable, propre, au calme, dans un joli village qui permet de belles balades et à la belle saison, qui offre un restaurant au pied des falaises d'huîtres pour boire un verre de vin local. La climatisation a été fort appréciée pendant notre week-end de canicule. Agnès nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires à notre arrivée et à notre départ.

Très jolie maison et vraiment très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Je ne peux que recommander.

Carolyn’s gîte was absolutely perfect! It is beautiful and the ideal location for a peaceful stay while still being close to Saint Émilion and other beautiful towns as well as only 50 minutes from Bordeaux. Carolyn is a wonderful host who was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. She offered us lots of recommendations and we felt like we were friends immediately. The gîte is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you need during your stay. It is spacious and suited our three generation family holiday which was incredibly important to us. I can’t thank Carolyn enough for hosting us and would highly recommend her gîte for anyone looking to stay near Saint Émilion for any length of time. Thank you for making our stay so special.
