Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Abertamy

Two paddle tours were planned for this weekend on the Göltzsch near Greiz and on the Zwickauer Mulde between Blauenthal and Aue. Staying at Susann's place allowed us to do this. Three couples expected us to have 3 bedrooms and appropriate sanitary facilities. You have the feeling that the family is currently on vacation and has left us with joy their lovingly designed house. Even the fireplace was prepared and then brought the special coziness into the living room. The breakfast together at the large table was thanks to a very good kitchen equipment, the hoped for start to the beautiful paddle day. It was nice to see you guys. We had a wonderful short vacation in Bozi Dar. The apartment was super tidy and clean, nice and warm and nice fresh air! The surroundings are fantastic, you can relax wonderfully on the terrace. A sauna is also available, but we were unable to use it due to the short time. But it was all completely straightforward and highly recommended. Thank you

We spent a few days with friends in this beautiful, rustic house over Pentecost. It was great! The house is very lovingly furnished and with many more things than you would expect from a vacation home. There was a lot to discover. There was nothing missing, everything was very clean. The fireplace provided cozy warmth on these rather cool days. The property is fenced and has a large seating area for barbecues. BBQ and fire pit are also available. The location is quiet and is great for hiking. There's a restaurant just around the corner. Katerina and Katja were great hosts who were easily accessible and also on site for arrival and departure. Thank you! Clear recommendation!

Great house for one to two families. A short distance from the ski area. Cheap restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Beautiful place to stay, very well equipped, comfortable and spacy. Amazing surrounding. Calm and peaceful spot with the parking lot in front of the house. We definitely felt welcomed.

We had a great holiday in the apartment. It is very clean and well maintained. The landlords and co. were very nice. Check-in and check-out smooth and fast! The location is very nice. However, shopping is not within walking distance.

We stayed with my daughter at Janet's place for 3 nights during our winter holiday. While the weather didn't bless us with the snow we wished for, we still had a great time. As the snow in the region was already melting, cross-country skiing was not an option. However, around the house there were long slopes with snow, where kids and adults enjoyed sledging through the steep fields. Moreover, the house is located at the very edge of the forest, and one can choose between a few hiking (or cross-country) routes in Germany or Czech. Aside of hiking, we shared some time with Janet's family and other guests at the house by walking, climbing, cooking and playing games in the evenings. The atmosphere was very family friendly and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

We really liked the views! Comfy apartment

The place is perfect for an active vacation. From there, it is just a few minutes to Keilberg or the German side of the Erzgebirge. It was nice and quiet in the area, but we would definitely recommend a car!

This apartment was a great find. Possibly due to translation issues, we did not undertand quite how much we were getting. In particular there are (in effect) three separate bedrooms, all with twin beds. One room doubles as the huge living room, with TV, even with Netflix!, but there were other sitting-places, including in the kitchen, so each can have his own private space, and only about 11 mins drive to the ski resort of Klinovec. The apartment is in an unusal building, with other apartments, but also a very large ground floor common room with lots of tables and chairs and places to leave your wet ski equipment. Was it a hostel in the past? The apartment was quite basic, with nets but no curtains to stop the morning light, and no bedside lights, so you had to walk through the room in the dark to get to your bed, and no hook for the shower-head. But a bargain certainly. I would hope that the minor issues are easliy fixed but I would stay here again anyway, as it was ideal for us.

***disclaimer, long post. My family and I have traveled a lot and stayed in many airbnb and never had the hospitality we received at Martin's place. we were welcomed by his mother (what a delightful woman), she made my kids so comfortable with toys, her lovely dog; the kids loved playing in the backyard although the weather was not much helpful. The area is beautiful, quiet, about 20 min drive for Kalovy Vary main attraction; so I suggest renting a car is the best way. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the Czech country side at Martin's after the noise from Praha. Martin was easily reachable and replied within 30 min of sending him a message. if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, well rested vacation, book this place. The next time we visit back Czech Republic, we will stay in Pernink at Martin's place!
